Does this seem too much to ask for, but instead of crappy hero hordes, cold they be replaced by something more standard. Like elite unit batallions. They would fill the same niche as Hero Hordes. Except they come in larger batallions, they don't have any special abilities (with perhaps a few exceptions), They can be given banners for regenerating dead units aswell.

Basically strong batallions

Just wondering why?

I think MHHs are ok?

To me the MHHS are too heavily flawed,what Nazgul has done concerning elite units is better

Exactly. They should be very strong and limited, but for some reason EA decided to make them 1-unit armies. I think if they got nerfed, then they'd still be ok as MHHs.

Hmm would Rohan's Rohirrim Royal Guard be a good example of 'more units, less power'? Or would there have to be more nerfing with that?

i would think more nerfing because i think they're pretty op. since I'm on rohan I'll suggest maybe that the rohan royal guard (infantry) get a name change. How about calling them the Gold or Golden Guard kind of how I see Gondor's guard?

Fountain Guard>Citadel Guard

Royal Guard infantry> Mounted Royal Guard
"Golden Guard"

I base this on that Citadel Guard are higher than Fountain Guard so i wouldnt be surprised if I'm wrong at all.

@uruk king
;) yea i could see your point since i just played against rohan, they're tough, which i think should be since they're made to be the best. :p i'm sure it'll be tricky once the team gets to them.

speaking of elite units, i like the idea of it coming to RJ. :p

Sorry for the the Harsh post, it's just that Golden Guard seems to copy the title of Citadel Guard. Even though they share common objectives as Guards of the King/Steward. Royal Guard is a more accepted title of both BFME moddin communities, and other canon.

i dont get you people, i dont think that mhhs are op, ( they have to be stronger of course, or they coulndt be name mini HERO horde ), the only op i saw is Arnor knights battalion ( they ARE op ) and mordor Black Uruks ( THEY ARE OP ).

all other mhhs are pretty easy to take down if you got something in front, and something FU, in back lines ( having a hero with leadership is pretty good thing too ). You just need to do the best you can KoDAS ? - pikes pikes pikes, Deathbringers ? - some special AoE dmg type monster, buffed with archers, Noldor wariors ( i think its the name for elven dudes ) - trample trample trample, and advance closer to them with som infantry.

All of which costs far more than the hero horde enough does...which is why they're op. We could keep them as current and just raise their price to around 3000-3500 I guess, but I don't really think people would like that.

maybe just to 2000 - 2500 thats still enought, ( currently most of them cost 1000 - 1500 ), i kinda like them, and would make me sad to watch them become regular units

I'd prefer them to be more of elite units than multiple battalions of heroes...Ie, more powerful stat-wise than the other units of their faction, but not to the point of absurdity. So basically calling for a stat reduction and price increase.
Cheers,

I think you keep the MHH's but you make them A LOT weaker, you make the price like 750-1000 and you can build more than one, you can also make it like the elite elite units like some one said above. I would love to have it that way because I hate having it limited and at that same time, they are all sooooo OP.
I think that all calvary should be able to get knocked down. I hate how Arnor knights don't get knocked down, it makes it soooo hard to kill them.

@funbomb

yea ive noticed that too, but the arnor knights before the current ones' had knockback animations, so might be model related? i think if the mhhs are going to be altered at all like the above two posts, they should be the most expensive units to buy. that being said though, some unit prices may have to change i.e. mordor attack troll maybe? and im pretty sure angmar is short on an mhh atm.

Could Isengard get a "heroic statue" that has the same function but is a giant White Hand carved out of stone? It's in the books and fits them, IMO.
