@Matt- Wait, you're making one??? Awesome! I was getting at that I can have an allied Gondor and Mirkwood fighting against Mordor on the Angmar map..woot!

I like High Elven Lord's Angmar map if its the one I remember properly. (though as for Carn Dum the one I've seen on MEVault with the snow terrain mixed with Cirith Ungol architecture beats all... or would if it wasn't so necessary to have online multiplay.)

hopefully u can add click on them to get a full map screenshot.

but you did get all there permissions to use the maps?

Yes and no: yes, EA made a Rivendell map for BFME2; no, we can't use it. RA is for BFME1, and there are copyright issues that prevent anything from BFME2 from being used in a BFME1 mod. If RA makes a Rivendell map (as mh_gollum said, very low priority because of the extra work) it will be an original Rivendell map.

you can actually export the terrain without the textures and objects and use that then it won't be copyrighted just needs to be heavily textured and redone with objects

And as been said before, making the buildings of Rivendell is low priority...

As for the map itself, I'd hope for a better looking map than BFME2's :wink_new:

I have no idea lol. Erm did bfme1 release a demo map? i never saw all of bfme1 maps because maybe theres a rivendell hidden beneath in it :wink_new:

erm maybe M@tt could do one or find one from mevault thats good ect.


for example

this was a really good bfme1 rivendell map on mevault. rextexturing small parts and smoothing some cliffs would make it a really enjoyable map.

Fair enough, we all want you to finish the mod, so we're not going to whine about that one particualr map (well at least I'm not). Keep up the good work. When will your exams be over, i. e. when can we expect sneak peeks on a regular basis again? (Best of luck, all of you, I'm doing them to.)

use place holders im sure your modders made elven camps use them :)
