I watched a show the other day about army ants. This also reminded me of locusts. How about killer flying ants that eat crops and flesh? Swam of the South or Swam of Harad maybe?

A good source of ideas might be the game "Age of Mythology."
If you haven't played it, try going here --> http://aom.heavengam...gameinfo/powers

Oh, and for the expansion, here. --> http://aom.heavengam...wers/godpowers/

Well, maybe,
-but hey, I'm just throwing out ideas... Anyway, some of them might be decent. "Plague of Serpents" could fit the Haradrim quite nicely.

Yeah , I can agree that some are OK. "Rain" and "Prosperity" are the two that I could be OK with. :p

Am I Belgian or Flemish? Hmm, me thinks I'll just stick to European...

i think this idea has already been discussed. I was thinking of a tier 2 or 3 for harad called sand shroud(or cloud) but it could be a passive spell that stealths all of Harads calvary except the mumakills and grants a 20% speed bonus.

What about something that makes the mines invulnerable to being exploded by enemy fire arrows? I mean, you'd have to have a pretty damn good shot to put one in the opening at the top of the mine. It would finally make the unit more true to the movie of actually having to use a berserker to blow it up.

Another idea I have is to improve the warg riders because they were pretty much useless against any form of pikemen or infantry-archer combination. Basically just a horse shield ripoff I guess and probably is unnecessary when you have Sharku riding alongside to provide bonuses, but I'm just trying to help.

"Strength of Orthanc"- I know that Orthanc was not built by any means of the WotR Isengard members, but the power is just a name that can be cast over a small radius in the Isengard bases/camps/settlements that temporarily increases the armor of the effected buildings considerably. It reflects the strength of mighty Orthanc.

OH OH! How 'bout some crazy dragon strike?!!! I mean, if EA thought it was cool enough, why not RA? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! :p

Isn't Sharku another name for Saruman?

on and off I belive...
in Scouring of the Shire, yes he's called that by his men... (or? Sharku means "old man", or something atleast...)
In the movies, the Warg Riders captain's name is Sharku :p

Yeah well, it said somewhere (appendices possibly?) that Sharky came from Sharku, meaning "old man" in orc tongue.

Yes. And seeing as Sharku looks quite elderly for an Orc it does make sense for that to be his name.
Let's see...I thought the "Wrath of Carahdras (sp?)" spell from Wars of the East was pretty creative. Maybe something along those lines?
Cheers,

And what does that do? Conjure up a blizzard/thunderstorm over a wide radius I expect?

Yes, from what I understand it heavily damages everything within a certain radius.
Not exactly true to the books, but in some cases you just have to make do, aye?

I wouldn't mind seeing something like that personally, even though it wouldn't fit with the rest of the mod. I'm trying to come up with a spell that implements the Caradhras thing.

Edit: OK, all I've got so far is an upgrade: 'The White Hand' (used on all troops) - gives them a morale boost (immunity to fear?) and perhaps a slight increase in attack damage (perhaps when in a large group of two or more hordes?). Any thoughts?

...The Journey doesn't end here; death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores...and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise...

...Many folk like to know beforehand what is to be set on the table; but those who have laboured to prepare the feast like to keep their secret; for wonder makes the words of praise louder...

...Stand, Men of the West! Stand and wait! This is the hour of doom... ~ Gandalf the White, The Return of the King
