That's a brilliant idea. :p I believe the term is "grapeshot", but that doesn't sound very Arnorian...


That's only with cannons ;P In this case it would just be throwing a bunch of rocks, like the onagers in AoE2 ;)

The only thing that I don't like about Arnor is that you can't get the allies from the fortress on fortress maps :p

like how you have to buy the 'ally with dunedain/elves'?
if so, i could do it on helms deep :S

Speaking of Arnorian siege weaponry, they could use a different looking siege works. It looks like the Gondorian one. I guess it could be recoloured to look more white and light blue at the top, to fit in better with the barracks and fortress.

Yeah and one more thing, on the pic of the siege works, you can clearly see a wooden construction... which isn't there on the game map??

Right now I think it's just a reskinned gondor barracks...I dunno about the wood thing, maybe your model graphics aren't as high as they could be?

guys i have a problem...the mod is awesome.i put it to my pc and it works fine..the problem is some characters is becoming pink like arnor castle and walls..any idea???

This problems are only in the Arnor faction? Did you remove anything from the mod folder? Maybe try to reinstall?

The pink castle and walls is only in ARNOR in other factions the only problem is that some characters they not appear (the picture) like heroes or some others is not appear at all,not even in the battlefield..
I know there is no problem with the mod...something i have done wrong...please help...tnx and sorry for my english...

What graphics level are you running? (i.e. Low, Med, High, Ultra/very High)
If you are running on medium or lower try raising all model-related settings to 'high'.
If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the mod. If that also doesn't work then I don't know what else you could do.
Maybe save your user data under C: -> Documents and settings (for XP), Users (for Vista and 7) -> username -> Application Data (AppData ->Roaming for Vista/7) ->My The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king Files, and reinstalling RotWK.
But Be very careful if you do decide to reinstall.

It's a corrupted asset problem. Redownloading and installing the mod should fix it.

I just want to post my congtratz to RJ and say that you r doin an epic work that will surely still b enjoyed in a long time!! that said I just want to say that Arnor is a bit unbalanced and their soldiers r too tough whilst their knights occasionaly recover their health in a pinch while in battle. finally i like to giv a thumbs up to adding- not switching- Amarthiel as a hero. keep up the awsome work m8!

in skirmish i cant get glorfindel but in war of th ring i can how come?
also arnor elves need archer units other than the imraladis captain.

Would it be possible to add Strider to Arnor Faction under the category of Dúnedain Rangers Faction, since he originally comes from the Northern Kingdom or make him a summon or something like that. Somewhere in that area.
