I pretty much agree on what has been said about Grond, even if it does OP Mordor, like having all nine Nazgul

Pardon me for changing subjects, but as for the former Wyrm power, I was considering a power called "Army of Barad-dur", which summons 3 hordes of Black Uruks, and 3 hordes of Black Numenorean soldiers (but not the ones with Angmar voices or skins), both groups are excceedingly powerful, if not the strongest infanry units in Mordor.
I will remember Rhovanion Alliance, RIP .

That does sound like a good idea :p
My Idea: [Unnamed] (Summon Trolls?/Olog-hai?)
Summon 3 Mountain trolls 2 Attack trolls and 1 Drummer troll
Every time I wrote troll in this post I had to change it as originally I kept writing trools ;)

On a different subject,
IMO the Mordor Witch-King's voice should be replaced with the Angmar one's, for all the other Nazgul its fine if all they do is shriek, but the Witch-King should talk. And it's not as if the Angmar Witch-king says anything specifically Angmar-related.
And maybe also Morgomir should get his Angmar voice?

Personally, I don't think i would want the above two for the Mordor counterparts, more so concerning Morgomir. If anything for the Nazgul, perhaps they should emit a shriek upon death.

Back to the power replacement.
I've got some more ideas
Hammer of the Underworld:
Grond does single strike to selected structure. Destroys any gate selected. Does great amount of damage to other structures.

Allies of the East:
Summons the nazgul of the east with a few battalions of soldiers of rhun and haradrim

???
Similar to Mouth of Sauron's ability where enemy attacks itself but with a much larger radius and continues to effect enemy troops till death

For the Allies of the East power, I assume Khamul is mounted on his fellbeast?

For the third power that's mentioned:it was implemented in another mod, so I have a good idea what you're talking about. :tongevil: I'm not so sure though if it should last until the troop dies, if there's one soldier left under the spell and providing it's at level 2, does the afflicted still keep fighting the newly spawned soldiers?

@Dalf: Agreed, I think the Nazgul look fine in Mordor, only thing they maybe need is shrieking when they die. :tongevil: But for the Angmar Morgomir, I am definitely for a reskin over that god-awful blue skin. :good:

heh, agreed. a shriek upon death would be nice, although i seem to remember that being in some other version of the game (perhaps it was bfme1?).
but yeah, the mordor nazgul look fine. angmar morgomir is the only one in dire need of a reskin.

The death shriek is in SEE iirc, but it's way better than hearing it emit a Gondor Knight death voiceover. :tongevil:

It's not fair..only the good factions have walls..isengard had very good walls..or mordor(the Black Gate)..it's something that EA didn't give attention..you can stay in your camp as rohan or gondor..make an army..and just make your final attack..Isengard's walls..Minas Morgul's..Dol guldur's..they were all a great defence..now..without walls..it seems that the evil factions..have no idea how to construct a wall to protect them..that goes only for the maps..in which you are able to construct a camp..

Yes, but the orcs didn't build Isengard, or Minas Morgul. They just took over old Numenorean fortresses. Not sure about Dol Guldur, though...

Maybe small walls you can't walk on, or fences? At least something to make it semi-defensible.

And Silindor please not so many periods between words and making sentence breaks. It makes it rather hard to figure out what you are saying.

both isengard and mordor already have fence-type things that close off all but small opening in their bases which make for good choke points, but imo they dont need walls. the primary reason the evil factions dont have walls is taht they were always on the attack and as a result, never needed to build any. adversely, the good factions were jsut about always on defense, which means that if they didnt have walls, they would have been defeated very quickly.
the fact that evil factions dont have walls also makes you play an evil faction differently from a good faction. it forces the player on the offensive, whereas someone playing with a good faction can afford to sit back and defend for a bit.
doesnt need to be changed imo.

following the black numenorien and black uruk power, i disagree alot.
Werent they all dead, and not even in barad-dur? Only the Mouth of Sauron was in there.
I'd like to see like.........a 25 pp power called "Armies of the Morannon".
:Summons _ battallions of orcs from the black gates.
Something that summons stuff in huge numbers, after all, that was mordor's greatest strength, numbers.
That is how they won, not by elites, but by sheer strength of arms.
So a power like that would change the tide of a battle, just like it did in helms deep, minas tirith, and minas ithil too.
Without the extra numbers, they couldnt have overrun the gates, walls, and half the city of minas tirith or helms deep which they........kinda
completely destroyed. Minas Ithil was taken by sheer force of arms, no strategy, just get on the walls, overwhelm with numbers, and kick some
gondor a.

Could a Black Uruk power provide a small damage leadership like the Drummer Troll provides armor, or would that sound too OP?
