the movie is kinda wayward from the books so i kinda disagree
unless the scouts are like, uber godly scouts, its ok.
what's wrong with deathbringers anyway.........perfectly fine u know
i mean, they are killing machines, and can be taken down pretty easily.

They were hashed up by EA using CAH parts to supplement Isengard with a Mhh. ^_^ The shield upgrade sounds interesting. The Uruk Tracker does as well, I think they should be the Mhh more so than Berserkers.

Why does everyone think these Uruk Scouts or Trackers should be the Elites?

But still the shield upgrade for the Uruk Warriors is pretty a good idea, it would certainly give the Uruks more protective armour and be harder to kill.

It has to be movie fanatics suggesting elite scouts. ^_^ But if the Trackers should get shot down, perhaps name them Olorin(sp?) Guard.

shadowcreature, Olorin was Gandalf's name in Valinor, before he embraced the name Gandalf, Saruman's maiar name is unknown, but he was called Curunir by the elves, and I doubt he would have been refered by his orcish servants by elven titles. But are you suggesting the Uruk elite be a type of Uruk bred to protect Saruman>

It's not a gameplay problem it's an aesthetic problem. Most people think they are ugly and their apparence and name don't fit the Isengard style.
And yes having uber godly scouts instead was the idea.

Will people never let the matter of the scouts DROP?!?

If you've actually read previous posts in this topic, you'll notice that they pretty much agreed that light-armored Uruks would be scouts, and heavy-armored ones would have the armored skin. ^_^

But it requires the putting-forth of a little effort to go back a page or two and I can't do that! ^_^

Going back to the shield upgrade idea, should both Uruk Warriors and Pikes get it? I'm considering the fact there are those who like to combo the said two(swords and pikes).

Could Wulf, the Wildman leader get a n abilitie that allows him to fight in close combat as well as with ranged axes, having him blast back my forces with that ranged axe is growing annoying and slightly OP. I mean, he is cool like that, but still a toggle would be nice, so that he could fight in close combat.

I think he should remain ranged. He's like the compliment to Uglok or whatever the hell the other Uruk's name is. Giving him toggle kinda makes him more like lurtz

After playing a skirmish as Isengard using Wulf, I agree he is ok being a ranged hero. I'm sure this far from happening, but I look forward to some of the heroes being added to the WOTR rosters i.e. Ugluk, Wulf, Glamdrung from the Goblins to name a few. ;)

I did notice some strangeness playing Isengard: is it odd for Wildmen of Dunland to be more expensive than Uruk Warriors? Also, imo I find the voiceovers for a level 2 Warg Pack to be "off" (Warg Rider voiceover)
