I mean, the buildings work perfectly they just look odd, if it's chanced it would be nice, if you can't chance it, no hard feelings.

So I love BfME for the game play, but I also enjoy it for the eye candy too.
I hated the original BfME titles for including team colours like bright pink, purple ect. because it just made the units and banners lose their appeal. I love the way RJ keeps the original colours on units but still marks them on the map as different colours.
All of the other civs for the most part, look very realistic (in accord to the movies and stuff)
and I love RJ for it, but I have an issue.
Isengard troops, when upgraded with heavy armour turn GOLD.
[sarcasm]Oh yay! Cause that makes the evil team sweet![/sarcasm]
Seriously, I can't believe EA made them gold.
SO my suggestion is, the Isengard Uruk Troops should start off normally with lighter, leathery type armour that is seen in the movie at Amon Hen and looks similar to the Uruk Crossbow horde units without heavy armour. When upgraded, I think the Uruks should get their original skin, the iron armour that is seen at Helms Deep in the movie.
Maybe you might be able to concider making the light armour skin for the uruk troops when you make the next update RJ, I think it would ring true to the movie.
+ I'd love you more.
Cheers,
Cam.

Why are Uruk Crossbows resistant to arrows?

Concerning the Uruk skins: unupgraded ones I think would be fine having a scoutish one. HA can be their current default skin, only made to look darker and maybe more rustic.
yeah thats what I was saying, I think it would look really epic.

Although this won't work with their normal model, because like this they would have a very unscoutish helmet.
No, the Uruk-Hai Skin problem has to be solved different. Though I agree that they should get their complete Helms Deep equipment with the heavy armor upgrade.

Once the armory has been upgraded to Lvl.2, you can purchase Orthanc Armory as an upgrade. It costs 800 to research, and can be applied to certain uruk hordes for the price of 400. It's like my Banner of Reunited Arnor idea.
Here are my suggestions for Isengard troops and how the upgrade works.
Uruk-hai Scouts: Light, fast, balanced infantry that can stealth in trees useful for chasing archers. When Orthanc Armory is applied, they become
Fangorn Skirmishers: Light, fast ranged infantry with ranged attack but a toggle between melée weapons and bows. Like Scouts, but with the obvious addition of a ranged attack. They fight better in melée, and have a Poisoned Blades attack like Goblin hordes.
Uruk-hai Warriors: Basic uruk infantry. Good all round statistics. When Orthanc Armory is applied, they become
Isengard Phalanx (?): Heavy uruk infantry and the best all-round infantry in the game. Gains Charge ability at Lvl.2 and passive knockback at Lvl.5.
Uruk-hai Pikemen: Basic heavy pikemen that are only effective against cavalry. When Orthanc Armory is applied, they become
Orthanc Guardians: Powerful pikemen that excel at beating cavalry and stopping almost any charge. They gain a Spear Wall ability at lvl.2, which decreases speed but increases armor, damage to cavalry and 100% knockback resistance for a short amount of time.
Uruk-hai Warg Riders: Basic warg cavalry. When Orthanc Armory is applied, they become
Dunland Boneriders: Elite warg riders with increased statistics and damage to buildings. At Lvl.2 they debuff nearby units with a Terrify ability.

I may have a nice addition though, why not give the Dunland boneriders torches, so they can set buildings on fire.
Then they'd be handy for guerrilla warfare, wargs are fast and agile, they go in and out an enemy base quickly while doing substantial damage.
