To those who cannot get their custom hero working on the MotE faction or Rohan faction, I have a simple solution.

Open up your CAH hero list, hold down the first letter of the CAH's name while clicking down and Bam, you can use your CAH for that faction.

Yes it does work for any faction so you can get a Troll hero for arnor for example or a Captain of gondor as Isengard.

Makes sense; Berethor could serve Saruman, as hinted in TTA..?

The Blue Wizards, according to Tolkien, were vital to the victory of the good armies, because they stopped the East from unleashing its full might on the West. However, he also said that they might have started evil cults and stuff afterwards... it makes sense as Rob has done it.
However, I don't agree with the Blue Wizards having beards. They're supposed to look young, while Radagast looks middle-aged and Gandalf & Saruman look old.
They should loose the beards, as should Radagast. And Radagast should have a horse instead of Blink. 'nuff said.

IMO wizards should have beards. That makes them look more wizardish. So keep their outlook as they are. Execpt that Allathar or Pallando (donät remember which one) is green. I think this should be fixed

Ya have to agree on the Wizards with beards thing! It's how we identify them as wizards, and Tolkien never said that the blue wizards were young or Radagast was middle-aged, wizards came to middle-earth aged all ready and slowly aging thereafter. I myself would find it hard to take a young wizard seriously in any conception, which is why I dislike the CAH options so much.

- Green? I didn't any green guy? Must be the colour settings I reckon :p

I don't see there being any lore that says that the Blue Wizards looked young. Honestly, wizards can look whatever they want to look because they got skills with all kinds of spells. Aside from that, they commonly appeared as old men.

Now I don't think that we can restrict ourselves to making all 5 have beards. But I do think that they should look like old men because that was their most common form they took. Then again, I'm not sure if the blue wizards and Radagast will have their models re-done from the latest private beta.

I think that Tolkien said that the all wizards were in the shape of old man

Ya I have read a few posts of yours with very sketchy info which contradicts for some reason with what was said in the books - the wizards arrived at different times yes but that doesn't mean that one was specifically younger looking than the other or anything. And about the beardless wizards, given the nature of their mission I don't think personal grooming was a huge issue for them!

According to "Unfinished Tales" (rereading :shiftee:) the Five were none young in appearance, but all in the flesh and bone guise of elderly Men, to hide their true shape and power (IT'S A TRAP!!1!).

I suppose it could be done, might run a test model and see how it turns out just for the fun. Although I really don't think shaving was high up on the wizards agenda! lol

Hmm... maybe. A lot of people may not get it. Beards represent sage, wisdom, age, all that junk. People arn't used to magic men without face tails. Blame it on the media, Disney, and Saint Nicholas...

Okay. I would really like a test model, though. I just always imagined Radagast to have stubble, and the Blue Wizards as looking young and elf-like. Maybe it's something to with their colours...
