Aye, that was an annoying bug. It's already fixed however.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

You've posted that like five (well, four) times. It's been fixed as of BETA 1.05.05 I believe. Rob however wants all of the factions to be basically complete before his next public release (I seem to remember him saying this, don't quote me though :p), so you're just going to have to wait, or become a BETA tester

well the beta tester ship has long since sailed (barring the most recent additions; gothmog included) but i think a public release may b nearer than u think, as we hav alredy been talkin bout marketing 4 its release.

that bug is annoying and it has been fixed after many long hours of frustration on rob's part im sure. but ther is a solution 4 ppl wanting 2 get past it 4 now: mor than 1 thing has worked, i find that moving the fellowship 2 the upper left corner during the second wave of wargs works sumtimes, as does keeping them as close 2 the spot nearest boromir as possible during the vry sam section. its of course not fool proof, but it can be dun.
if all else fails just keep tryin and eventually u will get past it!

I don't know if this straying off topic. But don't you guys think that there are some WOTR missions that need to be added? I actually don't know whether it's too late to add more Good faction campaign missions, so please be patient with me if these suggestions are useless. I don't have he mod too, by the way. I also apologize for the length. Anyways here are some of my suggestions:

-Could there be a mission where Arwen and Frodo have to escape the 9? I highly doubt that there would be a mission like this.

-Maybe you could make a mission where Theoden, Hama, Gamling, Aragorn, Eowyn, Gimli, and Legolas have to repel the Warg Attack. I was thinking that this mission could be almost identical to the "Barrow-Downs" mission in ROTWK. In that mission, the only way you got units was from reinforcements. So I was thinking that this mission could be similar to that. Like you'd start off with Gamling and Hama (with some Rohirrim and Yeomen) and then you'd have to face off with a bunch of Wargs, Warg Riders, with some Crossbowmen and Uruk soldiers added in. After a timer is over, Legolas (and possibly Boromir - if he lived in Amon-Hen) could come with more Yeomen and some Rohirrim. And then you'd have to face off with another wave of Isengard (Wargs/Riders, Crossbowmen, Soliders, etc.). And after the last timer is up, Theoden, Aragorn, Gimli, and a bunch of Rohirrim and Yeomen show up. And you lastly have to face-off with the last wave of Isengard (which includes loads of Wargs/riders and a moderate amount of ground-units).

Inbetween one of the waves, there could be a bonus objective involving Eowyn. Eowyn and a bunch of peasants could be attacked by a party of wargs/riders and you have the option of saving her and the pesants or not. If you succeed in saving her/peasants, she joins with your army for the next wave.

*For each wave, some units could be FU for both Isengard and Rohan. Mostly for Isenard though.
*The last Isengard wave should have Sharku
*For each wave, there could be wildmen leftover from the Westfold if there's wildmen-westfold mission.

After you're done the mission, the amount of Yeomen and Rohirrim riders that are leftover, can be your starting force for Helm's Deep. Also in Helm's Deep, you can revive any Hero that was killed (that could mean that you can revive Boromir if he was killed at Amon-Hen or anyone lost in the Warg Attack mission). Here could be some objectives:

1. Theoden Must Survive
2. Aragorn Must Survive
3. Defeat the Isengard waves
4. Have atleast 1 battalion of units leftover inbetween waves.

Bonus objectives:
1. Save Eowyn and the Peasants
2. Have Legolas Survive
3. Have Gimli Survive
4. Kill Sharku
*5. Have Boromir survive
6. Have Hama or Gamling Survive
7. Level up any Hero to level 5 or 6

*The main purpose to this mission is so that you might have an easier time coding a second Rohirrim army (if this makes it easier), and so that you don't have to mess around coding the Rohirrim heroes to level 4 or something.

-There could also be a mission for "The Paths of the Dead". Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli could be travelling through the Paths of the Dead and they have to attack th remaining Wildmen and later, they have to escape a whole bunch of Avalanches (after they're in, of course!). And lastly they have to kill the Corsair fleet befor they detroy all of the remaining Gondor villages. This woud be a mandatory mission, of course.

It would work like this: As you move the Three Hunters along, they would pick up some Dunedain Rangers and they'd fight a decent amount of wildmen. After they enter the cave (forgot the name) of the "Paths of the Dead", there should be a short cut-scene (if possible) between Aagorn and the King of the Undead. After the cut-scene, The Three Hunters (plus the Rangers you picked up earlier) have to escape the Avalanches (hell to code unless you use the Angmar Avalanche Power continuously) and after you exit the caves, you have to save the Gondor villages. After you save the first Gondor village, you gain a harbour (I forget the name) as well as a couple of farms, an archery range, an Inn (that's already got the Dunedain Rangers ready to purchase), and a Blacksmith. Next a timer starts. Before that timer runs out you have to save all of the Gondor villages. Or else you lose.

Well you save the other vilages (which are across the rivers and only accessible by ship) from the Corsairs (of course they have lots of ships). After you save them, a huge Corsair fleet arrives and your ast objective would be to defeat them. Another timer starts (like 2 minutes or something) which give you time to rebuild some of your navy. Thenthey arrive (FU, of course) and the mission ends once you kill them before they sail away. One thing that is possible in this level, is the ability to purchase the Army of the Undead power (but you can't use this power in MT though) if you've saved up your power points correctly.

Here could be the objectives:

1. Kill all of the Wildmen/Hillmen on the paths
2. Reach the cave on the "Paths of the Dead"
3. Escape the Avalanche
4. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli must survive
5. Drive the Corsair Attackers from each Gondor Village before the timer runs out.
6. Defeat the Corsair Fleet before they escape via the river.

Bonus Objectives:

1. Have any Hero reach level 10
2. Summon the Army of the Undead

*The main purpose for this mission is so that the Three Hunters can arrive with higher levels. In the other campaign missions of MT, the Three Hunters either arrive at level 5-6 while everyone else is level 7-10.

*This mission can also work for the FOD's Evil Men faction. It would also be the perfect oppurtunity for the FOD to introduce the Corsair Captain as a hero. This FOD mission, would be optional though. And when you siege MT, (and if you won this mission) your Corsair fleet would arrive instead of the AOTD and the Three Hunters. Basically, you'd siege the villages and do everything that FOL had to do, except it would be a lot harder for FOD.

Well, Rob is planning on adding more missions to the living World Campaign, but there is a limit to the amount of Missions you can have (you can't split up any of the regions in War of the Ring mode apparently, so you can only have so many missions as there are maps), so I dunno if you can do a Paths of the Dead mission or a Warg Battle mission, as some other mission might already be taking place in those areas or they might not ever be there.

The Linear Campaign however (the one with only Moria right now), can have however many mission you want, and I know Rob is planning to do A LOT of missions in the Linear Campaign (possibly going beyond the War of the Ring :thumbsupdrool: ).

Ya, it's a good point. I kind of predicted/knew that you can only have limited missions on the Living World Map. Unless you could create regions ( :evgr: ). Besides, all of my suggestions are just there to open up new ideas to the team.

I seriously hope that there will be missions beyond WOTR but as of now, my ideas are only within the WOTR era.

Lol, sorry 'bout that :thumbsupdrool:. A warg mission would defiantly be cool, that was a great battle in the movies, but Pelagir is like a weeks trip from the Paths of the Dead (in the movies they somehow managed to get there a second after the exited, but in the books they ride for a couple of days with the Army of the Dead behind them). Overtaking the ships could make an interesting mission though.

It is possible to split the LWM, but it takes a LOT of coding and rob pretty much has no idea how to do it. There will however be a linear campaign (the beginnings of which are already in 1.06) that take the place of angmar and epilogue. So your ideas will definatly be considered for that :evgr:

Btw, this is Yoda, cba to log on with this crappy connection :thumbsupdrool:

A osgiliath defense mission would be awesome to add to the campaign but the normal skirmish map for osgiliath is way of there is a map that's called battle for osgiliath that's way more accurate terrain owns to

When you mouse over the maps, the ones with a campaign map say "Forretress Map."
This includes Moria, Lothlorien, Amon Hen, Iron Hills, Rivendell, one just outside of Rivendell--I can't remember the name, Eastfold, Edge of Fangorn, Isengard, and Helm's Deep.

im good at writing, soo if you guys lack a number of (not originally based ) missions i can write you scripts for some ( detaily described each of course ).

stories are something that makes me fun to do, soo dont hesitate ( if you are skilled in laguages, i can post a link on chapter or stories writen in slowak )
"Let this scar signify the first blow against the mortal world."
"From this seal shall arise the doom of men,"
"who, in their arrogance, sought to wield our fire as their own."
"Blindly they build their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit."
"Now they shall be consumed by the very flame they sought to control."
"Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair."

"Tremble, mortals, and despair! Doom has come to this world!"
