lmao yea sure sounds fun... but also bout that helm's deep mission and how it should be readjusted.. i agree - cuz that could really be a pain on the ass when not only are archers standing on THE HELMS DEEP (not just some regular crapp ass wall) -but its elven archers!! And hehe i simply laugh off my ass when they start running around like crazy, while getting their asses shot by uruks - trying to run down and go through the gate or smth! ;) we should be able to have more archers on the wall.. thicker wall could've helped ...

The wall is alright. But the collision sizes are a pain. And you can't get them to face south like in BFME 1.

At Iron Hills there once spawned a batallion of Half-Trolls on the mountain. I couldn't reach/kill them, so there was no way I could win the mission...
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Yeah, in Iron Hills a lot of units spawned in non-pathable areas.

I don't know if it was mentionned before but in helm's deep, when we have haldir, he walks back to front when I move him after his speech!

I'm new here, and I like to say this is a great mod. Especially since I bought the anthology and the BFME1 disc doesn't work, I like the whole return to BFME1 idea.

I skimmed this topic to this point and I don't think anyone's mentioned what I'm about to say. I have the difficulty level set at medium and play at the default graphics setting. I moved Elrond's army out of Rivendell the first turn I could play as him, lost the battle, and because I had no friendly territories adjacent, lost the army. I played the Iron Hills mission (which is the best one so far) and built up a Dwarvish army, and moved past the high pass. This time I won the mission. After the fight, I had Dain, Gloin, and Elrond in my army (I revived Elrond at Iron Hills).

My problem is this: When playing Rivendell, I take my first set of level 5 Lorien Warriors and kill all the goblins in the beginning of the level. Dain and Gloin are off the map, but I move them in. I move my Lorien Warriors and Dwarves to the Rivendell Front Gate, to warn Elrond of the nearby goblins.

The gate does not open. Nor does it transfer into my command, allowing me to open it. There is no way to get around. I used the Summon Elvish Warrior Allies power on the other side of the gate, and walked around with them. I could see the builder and his barracks, Eregion Forges, Mallorn Trees, and all the other stuff. Elrond was up by the House of Elrond. Unfortunately, the Elvish forces did not respond when I confronted them. As nobody else seems to have had this problem, I think it means I need to have Glorfindel to open the gate, as in the mission he starts with the first group of Lorien Warriors. The other idea I have is maybe I need to have an Elvish army instead of a Dwarvish one to win the level. I have played the level over three times with the same results.

I am focusing on the Rohan section of the campaign currently. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

I have download this mod, but there is a problem

Skyrmish mode is ok, but the campaign don't start

I move the fellowship to Moria. But when I select the battle in real time, the game begins to charge.. But the mission doesn't begin.

It continues to charge to the infinity

(Sorry for my english, I'm a Italian player )

ravnin, its probly what you think. losing a battle pretty much screws the whole process, so you have to load a save or start over.

and i have no idea about the moria problem :/

That's pretty much what I figured. I'll just play the campaign again, because I don't have a save file at that point or any before. If I get Rivendell beforehand next try, Iron Hills out to be much simpler. I went into that with about 7 power points to start. Had a hell of a time with something like 18 hero revivals. Great level, that one.

It is caused by having shadows set too high. Go into settings and put the shadows to low before you start that mission and it shouldn't be a problem. You can keep all other graphics settings the same.

Go to War of the Ring, and then click 'RJ - campaign' or something like that. Select Gondor as your faction and have fun playing :good:

There's a lineair campaign too in the WIP, so far Moria is done and Isengard about 75%.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP.
