Awww Soz clone but i forgot something... Ur guide is great and much better than nazgûls, but if u just typed the target and start in paths for the shortcuts it would be much better lol like this:
Target:
"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Battle for Middle-earth ™ II\lotrbfme2.exe" -mod SEE.big

Start in:
"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Battle for Middle-earth ™ II"

Lol cuz those screenies are a lil off road if u ask me, btw thats the only part nazgûl really did right in his guide if i would be honest ;)

Heh, Naz? I'm not sure how you got that out of my post, but okay...I meant delete the super old version of the manual (v2.1) in the old d/L, installation, and crashes thread and replace it with the more recent one.

Ummm...what what do you mean Zerosilver?

v4.0 posted!

Now it looks nicer, on top of being helpful :p

And if there are any other hostees that want a manual made for their mod, I am willing to extend my services! Not every mod has their very own Support Manager :thumbsupsmiley:

5th Edition released! No longer "versions!" This is professional work here!

I also added a NotePad version for those without Word™.

And my offer still stands! (Is there any way to advertise this?)

It is listed in the tutorial how to patch, but if it refuses, then go to this site: http://lordofthering...es/Patches;7050

Find your lang of the game and start at 1.01 and work your way up. If you can't find the patch, tey're there, just scattered horribly.

Sorry 'bout thread necromancy, but I was sure that the installation guide had something that taught you how to make the Application Data folder show up. I must have skipped it.
Mine doesn't show, so I need you to tell me how to get it to show up >.<

Make one! Simple as that! It works on most games...I hope it works here.

BFME2: My Battle for Middle-earth™ II Files
ROTWK: My The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king Files

Shouldn't there be an Application Data folder by default anyway?

Yes....I thought you deleted yours...

Are trying to find any app data folders....or have you found where they are, but can't find BFME?

If you can't find any of them, make sure you Start menu --> Run --> %appdata% (which is in the manual :good: )

I thought G was a dvd drive...you mean C?

You put in the spot as declared by my manual. (Start --> Run --> %appdata% --> My BFME2 Files)

Why do you want the tools in Internet Explorer? It doesn't have anything to do with the mod...but its under one of the menu bars...

Start means the "start menu."
