Ever try rebooting the comp? Sometimes that helps.

And you have gone throught the manual, and used the predone shortcut? Also try going through the generic manual. The SEE manual is older (link is in my sig).

I must of installed it several thousand times rebooting is a many part..

And to be honest the manualm didn't help with that in any way :D

I've also noticed alot of people here have posted that problem... And onyl 1 person (near the start of this thread) fixed it, well anyay dont you know anyway how the isenguardstatue.ini or whatever works.. maybe that COULD lead us to something?

I have no idea how BFME2 modding works.. so....

You used the predone shortcut?

If that doesn't work, read through all the support threads and try everything.

Waiting for 4.5 won't help. But since this '1 person' with the same problems that you have actually solved his problems, i took the liberty of reprinting the solution of the first page here:

Please post what you put in your start in and target boxes, and the direct file location where you put your SEE.big. Thanks!

Start in: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Battle for Middle-earth ™ II"

Target: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Battle for Middle-earth ™ II\lotrbfme2.exe" -mod SEE.big

Location: C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\Application Data\My Battle for Middle-earth™ II Files

AHHH! Why do all these people have problems when it is entered correctly!!!!

Is your thing really "My Name" or did you edit that for forum use?

Try reisntalling the game (several times if need be). After uninstalling, go to the BFME2 folder in program files and delete it. Then re-install, and re-patch.

All right, I'll try that. When I reinstalled it kept messing up, but I hadn't deleted the folder.

And I changed it to My Name because of this being a forum.

Edit: It worked! Thanks a ton, I was worried I'd never get to use this mod.

So, how about reading up on your problems before complaining that noone is trying to help you? I hope now you will get it to work! :good:

No I don't have Vista, and I actually allready looked at that solution but tbh THAT dosn't help because I've done all that, sorry if I sound like I'm flaming in anyway.. I just thought this mod looked really good and wanted to try it is all. Nevermind, and what do you mean by waiting for 4.5 wont help?

Because if you can't get beta 4 to run, you will have the same problems with 4.5. :shiftee:

As someone advised in the other thread, just keeping patch 1.04 or 1.05 might help (instead of using 1.06). And can you post where you placed the SEE.big file exactly?

Once again, there is NO need to shout it out all over the forums. One thread definitely is enough. You are heard, believe me.
