Especially in comparison to Rindy's pic, the Gondor soldier's head looks too big and fat. :sad2:

I'm not sure if you mean the EA model or the Cahik_ model, but I thknk both are very nice. Having then exactly like the movie mold would be possible but rather hard and I know of noone that has done that. The EA ones will do for SEE anyways :sad2:

I only removed the tassets for Low Armor... in HA they get them :battery:

Ah, I see :ninja: . And as for the skins, thanks, but no thanks - I'd rather make my own changes to the original PSD :wacko: .

Nice work as always, but like all units THEY ARE ALL CLONES! If it's possible to randomize armor textures, why can't face textures be randomized? Clone armies belong in Star Wars, not in Middle-Earth!
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Maps: Mount Doom, Shire...maybe something else?

See, one of the things with this new camera is that all skins have got to ROCK :lol: Otherwise your screenshots look...bad :)

Yeah all things here are for Beta 4.5, which is actually the largest beta change ever, so it might as well have been named beta VIII or something. The "4.5" was just to keep the name BetaV since it's been talked so much about before :lol: So next up is 4.5, and then by winter we'll have V and thus back to Roman letters, hehe

As always - I have to say this again... :sad2:
It's NOT possible to create multiple skins for units if the use Heavy Armor. For LA the can use as many skins as we like, but when going to HA they all get ONE skin alone. The only way to hack this is to more or less make each single unit an object of his own. THAT is work that stinks for such a little thing. If we do something like that it should be with units that are very light armored without helmets and such. Gondor soldiers will only look like clones in these close ups, and doing 12-15 child objects just for different faces won't motivate the work load, aight? :lol:

I have plans (wish) for this on other units though, such as the Lórien units and some Dwarven. But not gondorians...

About the maps with RJCam: Shire and Mount Doom only. Rob who's doing the cam system won't have time to fix more for this release. I only do the sky textures, he's doing the scripting and the model placement on the map. At the same time he's also producing RJ-RotWK, so yeah... 2 maps will do for now. They are the extreme opposite to each other as well. Shire is from the first scene of the movie with lush landscape and clear sunny skies. Mount Doom is from the end of the movies and everything there is darkness, dirt and scroched skies... I though that would be rather fun as the first two maps with this system :)

To add more variation to the gondor soldiers without the heavy armor glitch is to maybe have some of the soldiers carry only a sword and no shield. In the movies when it shows the orcs pillaging minas tirith you see that most of the gondor soldiers wield only swords.

LUA varitety of weapons and maybe some guys could be left handed and carry the swords and shields lefty style? You know mix and match.
