so what maps this camera angle going to be available on?

O.x

On all maps, even those that don't have a skybox yet.

About the maps with RJCam: Shire and Mount Doom only. Rob who's doing the cam system won't have time to fix more for this release. I only do the sky textures, he's doing the scripting and the model placement on the map.

Yes, that was a response to Sûl post as well. We do not speak 24/7 so he might have missinterpreted something. Those are the only two maps that have it, and since Rob is the coder for this and since Sul has a million other things to do, this is what we have =p

Some more Eldarion skin feast maybe? ;) These babies was not edited that much by me really... just a little too have the same metal look and tone of the others :p I think Eldarion is my primary idol really. He's just a grand master of skins and thanks to his (and Argolis's) donations this mod ROCKS even more, hehe :p

Whoops, and I forgot that I said I'd make a heavy armor skin for these guys :p . Though I'm sure that Nazgul is quite capable of copying a set of tassets from the Soldier skin onto these :p . Nazgul, one suggestion: for light armor, use the plain vambraces that are on the standard Tower Guard skin I made, and for heavy armor, use the fancy vambraces from the Hurin skin that you have in that screen, plus the tassets from the standard Soldiers with the edging changed to gold.

I'm saying all that because I don't think I'll be able to do the heavy armor skin for these guys like I said I would - I'm incredible busy in real life ;) .

Fantastic screen, by the way - would you mind telling me what you did to the armor in a PM? And if you could send me the JPEGs of these and the Soldiers for reference, that would be nice, too :p .

Vambraces? Is that like the arm thing :p Yes these are the HA versions and the LA have the arm plate with less decorations on it. I'm going for that movie look and I dont think they had tassets, did they? :S

Anyway, yeah I can send you some info and also JPGs of before and after if you like? =)

No, the Fountain Guards in the movie didn't have tassets, but you have to admit that changing the vambraces for HA isn't a very visible change until you get really close - and I don't think the enemy wants to get that close before being able to tell that these guys are more armored up than they thought :p !

If you don't want to do tassets, how about this: take the dark blue skirt from the Hurin skin (maybe desaturate it to black) and stick that on the light armor guards, but keep the white skirt for the heavy armor - that way, the difference is plain (I know the movie guards didn't have black skirts, but it's not as big a difference as adding tassets would be ;) ).

Hehe thanks Eldarion, but I'm way ahead of you there :p I used a grey cloth for the LA version as well as the non deco "bracelet". A very subtle but still obvious difference to the clear white of the upgraded ones. I'll post some screens shortly =)

And might I ask... (OffT) how come you're so excellent in English? It was just the other day I noticed "Pakistan". I thought you were from the UK? ;)

Good solution :) . Though I do think black cloth would be more accurate to the movies and the books, but meh, whatever works ;) .

Actually, I'm half American, half Canadian, born and living in Pakistan :p .

They use different models, not just different skins. Just like the dunlendings.

Just so you know, I haven't forgotten the screens or your PM Eldarion, I've just been busy tonight with a map :p The grey cloth is for the "skirt", nothing else. And in HA they go pearl white =)

Yes we are very lucky to have gotten such increbily professional material from Eldarion. He and Nertea are truly amongst the greatest skinners ever :thumbsupdrool: Even though I'm quite happy with my own skins too, their work is done 100% from scratch, and that is VERY admireable =)
