*loving every minute of your reports* :p

Sûl's an amazing AI Coder, right? :p :blush:

G'day nazgul

Sul would be the coder I would want on all my rts games ^_^ :rolleyes: I tried the camera angles for the first time today with the shire map. And the words holy crap are just nowhere near good enough :p

I think I even felt a little dizy changing from one angle to another. It almost felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride :xd: Totally awsome.
No chance of returning....Zero chance of surviving....Well!? When do we get started?

my absolute favorite strategy with this game is getting isengard dunlendings to start, and then hit-and-running on enemy structures. I just love how they steal resources with each attack, boosting my early game and crippling my enemy's. brutals are so much fun! i love getting owned by enemy fortress weapons whenever i get a super-huge army! its so satifying to try everything you can and still get beat. Although, I usually need at least 2 AIs for that :p

I love to(when I get the right amount of time) make a wall around every spot where the enemy could come in and even in other spots too. Then I make catapults or teubechts all over it. This way you can know you base is protected and still make a huge army and go out to crush them! I say this from expieriecnce and it works. :good:

Might I remind everyone that I helped with it also :lol: Or at least with the skybox part :good:

:p Indeed, the proper credits for the Skyboxes are as follows:

- Skybox (dome) model:
* EA

- "Basic" coding, scripts and tips from:
* Morgoth 946 (of Four Ages mod)
* Rob 38 (of Helm's Deep Last Hope map mod)
* Lord Istari (of Age of Men mod)

- Scripts further developed and adapted by: (hence the name "RJ Cam" by me)
* Robnkarla (of (RJ-RotWK mod)

- Sky Textures by:
* Nazgûl
* Robnkarla
* EA

- "Coding" (Model and Script implementing) into SEE:
* Robnkarla (Shire & Mount Doom)
* Nazgûl (the rest) :lol:

:good: In other words: yet another community project really...
I'll put this into the Sky thread too =)

Not against Mordor you don't, especially with 4000 starting cash. (Unless you're dwarves.)

Yeah, Sûl suggested that the blue could indicate that the heat is much higher that others (like Mordor's catapults), and since blue indeed is the color of temperature over normal fire temperature, I liked it :p

And the double shot definitely gives an edge to each attack =)

Heya, Im just curious as to what you guys do to kill off Drogoth. He pretty much clobbers any army before they can do too much damage to him. The same for mumakil, they can REALLY take a pounding. And finally grond. Is there a better way to take grond out than just spamming fire arrows? Will siege weapons damage grond more? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

This probably should have been posted in gameplay discussions. :dry:

As for Grond, there is NO way you're taking him out with fire arrows in S.E.E. Siege weapon spam is the only effective way to take it out.

Indeed, and also moved there =p

- Grond & Mümakil should be attacked in the manner that seems most logical: Siege, magic and "flyboys" like Eagles. Grond is VERY strong, yes, but it's also very very slow. While attacking, Grond has to stand still and that's when you should release a number of siege shots at it, while using an eagle and whatever else you can find. Arrows won't to squat, but fire arrows do noticable damage at least. Grond won't last long enough to take down an entire base though, but it will seriously damage it, and if going stright for the fortress, it might just take it down :dry:

Mumakil is more sensitive to attacks than Grond, but will also last pretty long, just like in the movies. Strong ranged heroes are the best counter measure =)
