Happy armour :p? I don't think they're supposed to be black, it's just because of the darkness and rain in the pics.

:p "Happy Armor"?? :thumbsupsmiley:
The heavy armor of Lórien warriors will be polished into a slightly darker look yes :xcahik_:

I was thinking for legolas, we could make him switch between bow and sword, or do you just think that knife fighter ability is good enough for him?

> That could happen later on yes..

Not sure if this has been said yet, but Hobbit production speed is way faster than normal unit production. Makes them somewhat unbalanced, because even though they are weak, they come in very large numbers (that sounds like something Orcs should be doing). Also, it would be cool if you could either make heroes more expensive or make them take longer to create, because they come out really fast (the speed at which heroes revive should probably be the speed in which hey are created).

Overall though, the mod is great, except for that one little Hobbit issue.

> All "spam" units will be limited in numbers, just like Elite units =)

please not. There are enough Heros with Switch.
This Ability makes Legolas unique. With a normale swith he would be a hero like Haldir...

do you mean with "spamunits" orcs too?

lol, well I said "could", not will... :p

And spam units are all factions cheap fast recruitable units that are intended as base defence really... Hobbits is the best example of that right now.

I would like Celeborn to be reformatted power wise. Especially since he can't do all the things Elrond can (Elrond's ring gives him the power to do tornadoes and such). I can really only see him having sword powers (blademaster etc.) and perhaps a leadership when he's near Galadriel (he is married to her, you know). Also, I would like to see Galadriel wield a weapon of some sort and not just the martial arts we're used too. She is a Noldor elf. And she should be an awesome fighter because of this. Or perhaps instead of a weapon, let her keep her "ring hero" amount of damage to keep her awesome.

I know it's been suggested, but the more and more I think about it, the more I think MotW need Frodo and Sam. I'm thoroughly enjoying merry and pippin with the elves and Treebeard. They're fine. Lovin' them. But Frodo and Sam should really be taken away from elves and given to Men of the West. Now that Bilbo will be given to the dwarves, that means that MotW will be the only good faction without a scout hero. And I think that Sam and Frodo would get along nicely with them. Then it'll bring more balance to the number of heroes between the two factions. I really need your opinion on this Naz, I'm getting pretty emotional about this sort of thing. :D

:D Well, for once all the nagging is actually getting to me, in a positive way... I'm NOT saying we will do it for Beta 4.5, or at all, but I WILL give it a real thinker for Beta V, I promise. The thing is though, that logically it would be Pippin and Merry that moves to MotW. I mean the suitable benefits of Pippin with Gondor armor upgrade and Rohan armor upgrade for Merry is great, and they would leave room for Eladan and Elrohir for Elves... But Frodo and Sam... I just can't really picture them riding Treebeard (the movies have messed me up, lol)

For Beta 4.5 I'm aiming for a "group bonus" for them when all 4 are collected =p

mite I suggest changing the Noldor warriors to Noldorine (spelling) galadriel refers to them in fotr when giving merry and pip daggers, and the lorien warriors helms deep veterans to galadrhim (spelling). I just think that these make more sense.

I agree, though your spelling does need revision... *might*

Oh wait a moment...

From Wikipedia:
The singular form of the Quenya noun is Noldo and the adjective is Noldorin.
The Silvan Elves of Lórien are also called the Galadhrim, literally "tree-folk".

so the name Galadhrim isnt relative to a type of soldier in lorien but the elves of lorien as a whole I have no idea why I missed that, Ive read unfinished tails, silmarillion, lord of the rings, and the hobbit.

Noldorin seems to be the plural form of Noldor

ok your right it is the adjective form but why then does galadriel refer to the daggers in fotr as "the daggers of the noldorin" ;)

ok I figured it out I had to read what an adjective is first, for some reason I couldnt remember. so when she says they are daggers of the noldorin, she is describing the daggers as being of noldo origin. same with the bow she gives legolas. bow of the galadhrim. so I still think that the noldor warriors should be: Noldorin Warriors because it is describing what kind of warriors they are in the name, the same could be said about the lorien swordsmen, archers, and warriors putting galadhrim instead of lorien.
