hi guys

i am here to describe teh current situation of Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars. As you all already know... CnC3 is an utter disaster and has caused many people to lose trust in EA. however it always had a chance to return... making this game have a possiblity of becoming a fun, playable, and addictive game.

But dont worry because our trustworthy game developers at Electronic Arts Las Angeles have yet again managed to screw the game over. now we all get the fun expirence of every game, wether you win or lose, you receive a nice shiny disconnect. though the invincibilty bug is fixed, many new worse bugs have been found the very day of release. there are no balance changes so with patch 1.06 you can still enjoy the complete and total overpowering force from Scrin and get completely annahalated as the grossly underpowered Nod. and a lucky set of players, eager to play CnC, are also still locked out of the game because of the download issue from 1.05 that makes the game unplayable, and impossible to uninstal! also, we are pleased to inform you that the entire CnC3 forums have been flooded with spam, racist remarks, and total flaming of EA and their development team. Forum enemies have come together in a cooperative effort to bash EA and CnC3.

Congradulations EA on another job well done! keep up the terrible work!

I'm interested in playing a little of the campeign to see if it gets my attention, but my playing with the skermish has completely turned me off of the game. IF it has a good story I may be able to enjoy that, but so far I'm not impressed.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

me thinks you should stop playing "xeno tactic" (the game that creator linked in contra forums)...cause youve wasted valuable modding days

The only thing that might save C&C3 is mods, that is once they release that fucking SDK.

IF they release the SDK... and IF its as atleast modable as generals then there is some potential for it, but honestly, as a modder, theres pretty much no chance I'll choose it as my next engine. as I've said in several other topics Company of Heros and Crysis are much more apealing engines.

A Global Mod is like a mod except he/she mods all forum areas, that's as much as I can gather from it.

correction:

it barely continues from it. barely... there are so many things that EA left out that westwood left open... like what happend to cabal??? wtf??

EA pretty much took the story... removed whatever Westwood left, and rewrote the whole thing... and btw, the campaigns are not fulfilling at all... i mean the scrin one is hillarious because the guy who tells u what to do gets completely owned several times and its funny as shit, but otherwise it is kinda a let down...

I do not agree with you at all it continues the story perfectly fine imo, and also ALOT of games sometimes will cut small details out of past storys if they was not import or relavent to the story at hand.
And if EA was trying to remove anything westwood related they would have simply renamed the whole series something else removed the "command and conquire" title and would not continue with any of the old westwood made storys.

explain to me why this game seems like an anti terrorisim message...

u no with nod being weak and underpowered with terroristic units

and then GDI being able to roll over them with ease unlike in the old games where nod and GDI were on near equal terms...

Nod is much harder to use than the GDI, but that doesn't make them underpowered :) It takes skill to control Nod properly, and if you master them well enough you will be able to defeat even the hardest of opponents  I've seen Nod players stop Scrin and GDI rushers with ease, it just takes a bit of know-how to do so.

Realism is so overrated it isn't even funny. You already know what happens in reality, how is that entertaining...?

Thats my argument.
I never seen the game as unbalanced all the teams have different play styles like alot of RTS games, Think of nod as the strealth general not very good in frontal assults but fast hit and run/stealth tacticals and they have some nice lil abilitys and everything.

I seen nod blow the hell outta GDI and scrim, Hiroshi is good with nod he played there campain and since he's got used to them and now can counter mostly all attacks.

i play better with nod too i have complete the campaign in about 2 weeks but since patch 1.05 i dont play cnc3 any more (using patch 1.03 is better) but in patch 1.05 is scrrin really overpowered (if there were no to many suck changes(wtf does a harvester cost 1400) it will be fine) i will wait for 1.07 maybe it have better changes that return the power of nod and gdi (and let the railgun cost 3000 again)

I don't like how EA gave NOD GDI's carryall and gave them that Ox transport and the fact that they took away GDI's mechs.
