Err, what about varying attack troll models/skins? like ones with swords, different armor, etc? Asthetic....yet cool imo. =D

Yeah that be cool, but as far as Attack Trolls being useful, can't argue that! :xcahik_:

Skins are no problem, but I don't really see the point though. They all look pretty much the same in RotK. However, random weapons could be cool. *noted* :xcahik_:

Most of the armor was the same....but perhaps just with small minute differences....like maybe a different helm, some have gauntlets, etc. Troll armor would be pretty hard to make, considering its size, so it's quite ossible the same stuff wouldn't be available for ALL the trolls....but the war club upgrade could apply to every troll.

i saw something unusual, when i ordered my two mountain trolls to get a tree, they both went for the same tree and fought over it.did SEE make that happen,or just BFME2?

Lol, I'm not sure... but while Sûl was coding SEE (last year), he did a lot of such implementations here and there, and that might be his work. Trolls do fight however, when they're idle and just waiting for commands, but I guess you knew that =) In this case it sounds like a behavior connected to the proximity of a useful item such as the tree... But it might be a fluke too, hehe

I think that it's just that they went for the same tree, and if the arrived at the same time, then nobody got it, and thus they are idle, and start fighting :crazed:

Either that, or a Sul Surprise... :p :p

I'd go for Lauri's theory though... Otherwise Sûl would have told me, I presume... hehe

thank you for answering.
i think corsairs should stay with orcs just like wild men of dunland stay with uruks
its just that the corsairs dont fit in the evil men, because mordor loots and pillages, and the corsairs do the same, just like uruks and wild men harassing rohan.both uruks and wild men liked burning villages so they must be together.

Yeah, Dunlendings stays with Isengard and Corsairs with Mordor, even though Umbar is actually situated very near Harad, and in the lore the Corsairs usually hang with Haradrims :crazed: But in this mod, Rhûn and Harad will get support from Khand instead =) (As it's rather between Rhûn and Harad)

exactly, khand can be a mini faction for evil men.but for mordor,we need a good cavalry.i know we have trolls, but its just that they don't trample.

Mordor doesn't need cavalry. Cavalry isn't Mordor's playstyle. Besides, getting the Nine to go lay waste in infantry is all the cavalry you really need. plus the Troll's AoE attack and other abilities make it ideal for infantry-owning.

No, they don't. SEE is about diversification when possible. Factions shouldn't be mirrors of eachother, and I have never heard of any Mordor cavalry :p Trolls DO trample by the way. Or rather knock down when rusing into large crowds...

Nazgul, you mentioned in the Goblin thread that you planned to add a Rogash-type troll hero to Mordor.

GothmogtheOrc, from BFME I modding, made a BFME I mod that added a "Gorgoroth Troll hero" to Mordor. The troll hero looks just like the troll that attacked Aragorn at the Black Gate (in the movies, of course!) You just might want to take a look and see about asking GTO for permission to use it. if you want i can talk to him about it.

here's the link to the mod: Gorgoroth Troll Hero mod
