Dain(Ironfoot) has ivented a name for him in the RA mod.Mollock,and I think's it means Troll Cieftain in the black language(Mordor language).

GtO is an excellent modder and a really nice guy, so I'm sure he'd let me use it. However, there's no need to, when we have the nice CaH troll, that's also a replica of the Morannon Gate Troll in RotK ;) I also plan on scrapping CaH in SEE... so that would come in handy =)

Sul or Lauri can you change the armour looks of the Morgul orcs,as far as im concern,morgul orcs don have brown but silverish-spiked type of armour,so pls,can you change the armour

and look at those helmets,its not from the movie,its even random enough

and i barely see faces of those morgul orcs

PLS PLS change it!

1) Sûl left the SEE Team long ago... (I'm sorry to say)
2) Lauri is not and have never been a Coder for SEE. He's a Modeler
None of these giys can help you :)

I see no need to change the Morgul skins. TPD did a good job at skinning them. And it's not "brown" - it's dirt and rust. Silver doesn't belong here in any way, lol ;)

@Jonas: Mollock is a name invented by the RA mod ;) It's really good though and it has been officially accepted as his name more or less =) And yes, I will add Mollock. Might even do it for Beta 4.7...

Anyways, GtO only used a troll from the game, at rank 2..

you're scrapping CAH? that's one of the best parts to me! (but then again, it isn't exactly movie-like.) and didn't you have a bunch of problems with it anyways?

i beg to differ, Lauri. at the very least he did a reskin. it does not look the same as a rank two troll from the vanilla game.

Not that this is the thread to discuss CaH, but yeah... I'm not sure, but it might be related to the Saved Games crash we have... But mostly, I don't like CaH. I never use them and somehow, they don't fit in... :crazed: But we'll see. As long as CaH is NOT the reason for the crash I might just leave them be.

Mollock will however be exactly like the CaH version, so if you'd create a CaH like that, his originality in SEE (in terms of looks) would go lost =p

I think it does... You see, I'm pretty sure that GtO hadn't started to skin or model when he was modding for the 1.02 patch :crazed:
He might have a palantir portrait of the real "Mollock", but I'm 100% certain that it's just a rank 2 troll from the vanilla game :p
Oh, yeah... Using CaH parts for this hero seems like the best idea, as it has all the needed parts ;)

If I manage to work it out, I'll add Mollock for Beta 4.7... I find coding heroes to be a pain though. I spent 2 nights alone with coding Wulf Whaldar (yes, that's his full name in SEE) ;)

But... duh!? ;) I know dude :) That's not what I'm saying... I'm saying the CODING is hard. It's not hard to design a model of the CaH parts. We already established that :p It's how you code it into a normal unit using those parts in particular...

Idea:can you please take out the morgul orc picture?its not really from the movie.instead,put the picture of the baby face orc,who had a spear that gothmog used to kill Faramirs 2nd in command ranger at osgiliath.

That picture is badass. And actually...it IS from the movie. Notice all pictures are all parchmenty and some are illustrations? Er...yeah. self-explanatory.

That picture is a Photoshop result of an Orc helmet and a portrait of an actor in Orc makeup. Both from the set of Lord of the Rings, even if the helmet was not on that particular face. So, in a way your both right :shiftee2:

i know you said that you already liked the morgul skins, but maybe you could use those skins for another orc unit and give the morgul orcs a more movie related skin, kinda like the black orcs in rotwk and the orc in red in the original orc horde in vanilla bfmeII(of course with a better looking reskin if possible). only because the skin right now looks to "medievil" looking for a morgul orc if you know what i mean.

if your not down with it then its ok, still a great mod!!! ;)

Hehe np, don't be afraid to state your cause ;)

However, regardless if ppl like the skin or not, the skins are made for those models (by TDP who also made the models). I see where you are coming from with the medieval comparison, but the skins are in fact tailored for those models. Details can be changed and colors off course, but not the actual shape of things, like the open helmets for example. That's in the model's design and shape, not the skin. In the movie, we don't really see different orc tribes that much. We see a vast variety of orcs all together, regardless if they're from Gorgoroth plains or the tower of Cirith Ungol. No model in the retail game or in any mod does really look "exactly" like an orc from the movies. So in the end, it'd mostly a matter of imagination. I could try and work a bit on the skins and their details and coloration later on when SEE gets to the polishing phase, but I can't alter the model's design ;)

hi everyone

First off can i say, from what i've played, this mod is awesome and you guys have done great. but i just have a slight grievance with something i've come across. The grond seems to be almost indestructable against most things and it seems a bit overpowered. is it really necessary to have it so strong?
