I got a new idea...
for instance lets say you make a map where u go inside a Bunker.... instead of a sound set where the guy yells.. he whispers as they move thru corridors..u see them moving there arms and giving signals...and then out of nowhere PLA attacks from one side.. your 2 squads of rifle men (assualt) get to some broken debris and are pinned down... so in one squad 2 guys of the 5 get out of the group and move to a flanking position and then they kill the rest while the guys who were pinned take out anyone trying to run.
again another idea... Titans in BF 2142 had gunships and transports aboard the vessel... so wouldnt that mean when u guys make the titan for the mod the titan should be able to construct ships? a mobile airfield basically
Yes the Titans are somewhat alike a mobile airfield.
And thanks for the bunker idea! I shall contact the other mod members to see this asap. Thanks.

No problem man...hey could u give me an update on BF 2142..i dont know whether Infantry shoot bullets or lasers..as i said..im a modern warfare (BF2) lover.. not into the lasers..thats why i didnt get empire at war

P.S. (to Derek328) its a concern of safety and well-being.. is you and your team getting sleep and getting active or are you like that korean dude who played starcraft for 1 week and died of exhaustion..im just wondering because one of my friends had that problem with BF2..didnt move at all for 3 days..till i hit him in the face

Yes Helge is correct, the only laser weapons available is the EMP (and perhaps) artillery strike. As to Railgun & AA Battery base defences, although they fire high-speed projectiles in bursts, these base defenses cannot be classified as laser weapons.
And Murderdevil, the mod team is still constantly working on the mod, like me, warlord007 and parko328. They may not necessarily be active around the forums - but they're working hard. Also, please realise that it is very hard for anybody to get a mod going without EA's ModSDK, meaning all that modders can do now is to prepare elements like: meshes, textures, music, basic map terrains and designs, etc.
We usually announce updates every 20 days, meaning the next one should be around tomorrow.

Well anyways...i was thinking about a New dimension for The mod...Missing...In every bf game you will always miss your target once or twice..But in cnc lets put up a rifleman squad pitted against some miliants RIFLES ALWAYS WIN so i think now there MUST be a missing technique where sometimes when u shoot a missle it wont always hit it and whne ur titan is trying to get back to base after bein severly damaged it gets hit instead and you get ticked off because thats 5000 down the drain..This goes for every single unit missing is something to be added for sure

The rifleman idea is good & realistic. I think it can be even more realistic if we set the values, in a way, that their accuracy starts dropping when the distance (to the target) is further than "x".
BTW, we do get a lot of sleep. Dun worry.

Maybe it is possible to make a unit use a special ability by entering a designated area, but that would look odd
