i'm afraid you would have to register guest n_n

i must say i played your mod... and.... well.... we think the same in pretty much points.... specially in the yuri tech tree.... you have been spying me!!!!! >_> xD

na'h... i played your mod and i would be very pleased if you could share with me this 2 things

1) the worm code... i also have a mobile grinder (part of lao tze's code... part of my code) but it only attacks once and they becomes useless

2) the web where you get the whale... i can't find them anywhere T_T

thak you very much.... and thanks for the helicarrier... i would start to recoding it rigth now :grin:

and sorry... i'm lame at graphics too T_T.... and that really sucks because the lack of building SHP's in the comunity T_T.... as far as i know... there are interesting buildings in a chinese site... but it requires registration... (check voxel and shps section for more info)..

i also checked the virus particles... but there is no signal about particle count... i checked the deezire rulesmd guide... and i also didn't find anything

and another questions... (you can see here how i suck at graphics)

i'm using some of the daz generals voxels.... but they look kinda awful ingame... so i ask to my comarade and he said "make it darker" well... i extracted the textures... and make it darker via photoshop.... the problem is... now they have become..... purple? O_o

okay... the question is

how could i get rid of that purple?

maybe you would say... instead of that... you could re download the pack and make it again you lazy guy :grin:

so i will ask again:

and... how could i make a voxel darker properly?... so i could avoid to hurt my eyes again with that pink (i know there is a method in rulesmd.ini, but i want make darker just the daz units)

You'd need to go to the Voxel editor and remove all the pink remap its a palette issue also you can darken it from there too

yeah... the question is... how? (take the pink and make it dark)

i really dont handle voxel editor too much.... i also when i saw the voxels before playing... there is no pink... the voxel looks perfectly normal...



EDIT: please delete if i'm broking a rule... but since a lot of users here speaks spanish (mig eater say it)

i invite them to a page where i'm publishing info about the mod.... it's all in spanish....

okay i will say this..... i know WHAT i have to do.... but i don't know HOW

anyways... i tried again and making some modifications... i could fix the pink... anyways.... the tank looks better but not great... here is a sample with the daz microwave tank

if u want multiple particles of gas you will need to make the animation of the explosion spawn gas.

look for VIRUSD in artmd (i might be wrong on spelling but its basically virus green explosion) it should solve your issue

there is a tutorial on this though in RA2/YR Editing, most of the stuff there should cover such things.

i think you mean the forums so i will lurk... but i think i get it.. i was trying to modify the particle.... but the answer was the animation.... thanks... i will code it right now

i have 2 more questions

1) is it possible to make the AI generals work with AIMD.ini editing or its only some old stuff i should never try to touch? o.o

2) where i can find the yuri UI?... i read it was in the rockpatch site... but now that site was closed (or suspended)

1) It's been debated several times as to whether the AIGenerals logic actually works or not. In my opinion, try it, and form your own opinions. Delete the comments on the [AIGenerals] section, and stick ai.tlb from Tiberian Sun in your RA2 directory, perhaps renaming it to aimd.tlb. You also need to script more AI triggers to give the AI more variety.
2) It's on the RenegadeProjects server, it's not under the RockPatch section. Go here and click sidec03.mix at the bottom of the list. (Sidebar created by Blade).

Well since its from TS its designed to work only with [GDI] and [Nod] or Allies and Soviets as shown in [Sides]

its most effect in opposite side fights so [GDI] vs [GDI] fights would suck

also its incompatiable with Yuri side (i.e. no effect)

you would need a good aimd.ini (a good 200 kb or so more then original) with new scripts, teamtypes, triggers, taskforces, etc to notice any real difference.

There is of course debate its simply unsused by the engine and most modders leave AI to last

i don't know what do you mean with devastation fist... if it is for the red nuke... i made it... is just a recolor.

but the kaamos platform is not that unit really... i downloaded a voxel pack of a cancelled mod and i found it here.... obviously i couldn't resist to use it... is a great unit :D

the chaos attack cameo comes with the building... is a remodel of the yuri rocket launch pad.... i can't rmemeber where i get it... i think it was in YRARG....

okay... i think i asked this before but i wouldn't mind if you remember me this

it is possible to make a healing radiation?

and

how do you make a radioactive building?.... like the robot storm nuclear reactor....

you may notice i have flak track and quad cannon at the same time... that's because i didn't touched AI yet... the generals question was just for curiosity :)

1. kaamos platforms, mole machine, deviatation fist is part of from Arg's cancelled 2021: Cataclysm

2. cameo comes with dark elfs yuri chaos silo launcher

3. healing radiation does not work AFAIK and people have tried

4. Copy desolator deploy weapon code but increase range to 255

Note as you build a mod, if you ever intend a public release, its really helpful to have some documentation with CREDITS e.g. this person made this etc, to prevent petty disputes and so forth.

Healing radiation is possible with the Rock/NPatch using a custom RadSite warhead.

the radiation code is as buggy as hell and I've talked about it with Apollo who actually tried it.

Next time stop talking BS before posting or prove it.

Also its currently can only do damage no chaos or whatever effects

heh... yeah... i have all the zip's and rar's with his respectrive readme's just that i don't read it when i come here... and i use to forget stuff... since i chage a lot of things in mi mod... i don't take the time to write the credits if i don't know if the unit is going to be in the first relase

anyways there are some units that didn't come with readme... but i will ask for that when i finish the first relase.... or maybe a bit earlier..

anyways.... yesterday i haven't time to even touch RA2 i have a MUGEN project about to begin and also have the school >_>

so i just would leave another screenie :)

The proof is in my mod. One of my tech buildings calls in a plane which drops some.

Also its currently can only do damage no chaos or whatever effects

Negative verses on the warhead worked for me.
