1) Sûl's making some last minute additions and polishing...
2) When I get the WiP (i hope around 8-9 PM) I will make sure all my stuff is added properly and that balance and Strings (ToolTips) are a-ok!
3) Then I will upload to the site...
Thanks for the speedy reply to my first post. I just wanted to toss in another comment about the resizing of some units. Its cool to make their sizes more realistic relative to eachother but the resizing has a tradeoff in tending to make things odd sizes in relation to buildings. Like Grond is HUGE, I know it should be big but making it realistic to the ground units has the negative effect of making it way bigger than a fortress. I was just hoping the fellbeasts and whatnot arent going to be too big. Either way you guys have done things brilliantly so I imagine you thought about this already. Thanks again fellas
Yes I know... For Beta V, we will:
- Make Siege Works slightly bigger to "fit" the exiting of Grond nicely
- Make Mûmakil Pen much bigger to fit the Mûmakil
Other than that I don't see any problem with Grond. Grond is "natural" size now and the "fortress" is not really a fortress per sé, it's a fortress KEEP. Actually I think I will rename all "fortresses" to just that: "Fortress Keep". The fortress is what you get once you wrap the whole base behind walls
Thus, I don't really mind that the Keep is smaller than Grond. I had an awesome playtest match yesterday with Men vs Mordor. After about 45 mins, Grond slowly rolled into my base and I had not built walls... It was escorted by a Mumak and the Mumak took out all my ground units in no time, while the Grond moved on towards my fortress keep. It went straight for it and took out two expansions in 2 hits. Then it started bashing at the keep itself. After about 5 hits, my fortress tumbled into pieces and left the remaining structures easy targets for Grond. Without an Eagle and loads of archers and Siege, the grond just kept destryong my base like I crack my morning egg...

I've always seen that JUST before death they get this crazyness and trample everything, enemy and friend alike.
But ONE more hit and they die on the spot, its not like the troll who completes his animation hitting in Every direction and THEN dies.
Has anything of this been changed for the Mumakil?

THEN it's going to run away on fire.
This will only happen if it's on fire when on really low health (about 15%).
