All righty then, glad that everybody who has posted likes the idea  I will post info on one subject that I think that some people are concerned, dwarf heroes :D (Its the coolest one too Cal ;))
So to avoid faction with superior amount of heroes, 14 to be precise I got this idea which will be propably explained by this little part of tectree

Dwarves, heroes
Thorin Oakenshield
Gloin and Oin
Nori, Ori and Dori
Balin
Bombur
Fili and Kili
Bilbo
Dwalin
Bifur and Bofur

What this means is that heroes whose names are in the same line will come out as a horde. If you think about this, its actually quite logical and it "avoids" hero spamming because even though there is 9 now, its better than having 14
Okey so thats enough of that, any info you guys wanna know at this point ? Will be posting more in-game screenshots soon enough, Bard the Bowmen and the terrifying bats that came with goblins and anything else I get finished

Q: Will the Hobbit mod have a campaign ?
A: At some point I would really like to have this But skirmish comes first obviously

It'd pretty much have to. It would be such an awesome campaign!

The mod looks good, let's hope to see some more soon. :good:

Minas Ithil is LA map ;) :p
Here is new screenie, Bard the Bowman. He comes with the Men of Dale summon from spellbook which is renamed and made little more prizy because it comes with a hero.

Is bard going to be a standalone hero too? or will he only appear in the spell summon?
Looks great btw I don't see whats wrong with the face.

He is going to show up only as a summon hero. This is because dwarves have quite many heroes already. He might show up as spell summon for elves too though but he wont be recruitable.
Well thats good because there shouldnt be anything wrong with it but its quite directly from picture so it might look odd but not necessarily :shiftee:

New screenshots for you guys.
First, Warg Chieftain with his two abilities, button art to be fixed. Skin by me.

New unit that you recruit for 500, may change, from fortress. Pretty much useless if there are archers but against infantry or cavalry attack, they are good to be there :p
Posted Image
Then finally new unit, Flameraiser, these guys are the ones that started the fires under the trees where Gandalf, dwarves and Bilbo were.

Thats all for now.

They can attack units, cause small damage to units and buildings. Really cool to have ALOT of them :p I will reduce the cost of them though because 500 for one swarm is just too much.

Men of Dale summon is renamed

My fault that I didnt say the new name. And the Men of Dale aint going to be called Men of Dale anymore too.
So I thank you for noticing such a detail  Which though, is already fixed.

will the white council be played as possibly a mini-faction

or

Perhaps a building in the wild on each map that allows you to buy the white council. but if evil captures it then they can summon Necromancer and some castellans from dol goldur
