Yeah, that sounds perfect! I think I'll give them a small meta impact, but very small. A big dog like a wolf would still weigh enough to knock down a person when coming in full speed. But that won't make them cavalry really, hehe

From what I can tell, the wolf / warg debate shouldnt be that tough. Essentially from what I can gather is that they are all wolves, just different sub-species.

IE: There are many sub-species of wolf in our world, varying in size and color.

So in middle earth PJ's vision of a warg could be the largest and most ferocious sub-species capable of carrying a rider. There could be smaller variations and differences in color as well. So I see no problem in using the grey wargs, the brown wargs and the dire wolves.

I like the idea of the meta damage. Great idea! :ninja:

The Wolf pack will be:

- Riderless
- Many (15-20)
- Have several colors on fur

Just like in RotWK basically!

*decided* :ninja:

Maybe because everything about Angmar suck!

Heroes - SUCK
Units - SUCK
Structures - some SUCK
Powers - SUCK

Is that argument enough? :crazed:

And that idiotic troll hero...porbably the worst thing that's ever been in anything... Ever!

I don't really think that's the main reason...

If Nazgûl wanted to have Angmar in the mod, he would certainly create other heroes, units, structures and powers if he thought the current ones wouldn't fit.
I think one (better) reason is the kind of work that has to be put in adding a new faction, and another reason would be that Angmar didn't exist anymore during the war of the ring (correct me if I'm wrong)... I think it would just seem unnecessary seeing the work that still needs to be put in the mod.
There are far more important things to be worked on I guess...

I haven't been playing ROTWK ever, so maybe I just don't really see how much EA's Angmar sucks xD.
I mean, Angmar could've been made great if it wouldn't all be commercialized like this.

Thank you for your understanding :crazed:

zaske explained it well. Angmar did not exist during the War of the Ring, so it is not included.

Angmar in ROTWK did not suck. At the very least, it was way better than the playability of the Goblin faction...

Yeah, the greatest thing about that faction would be that ALL of Angmars heroes are already in other factions. It makes so much sence that I...I can't control myself!

Rhodin? Where have you been, man?! You work on any audio for S.E.E. lately? I kind of remember you were going to put in an audio file for Gandalf's word of power, the "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" Any other things going on with you?

:D Actually, Rhodin's right... I HATE the Angmar faction. Mostly cause it has nothing to do with LotRs :p It's all just a bunch of made of crap that would fit better in another game. This is not the place to discuss that though =)

Here's a little update for y'all. The good Ed of the 3rd Kind - AKA "Ed 3rd" is putting the finishing touches on the Easterling King hero for the Rhûn (EvilMen) faction :p

The weapon seems a little strange... a little thick, sorta. Idk, and it looks a little weird how he's holding it like a sword.

Nice, though.

The thing with it is that this particular weapon can be used as both a spear and axe making it perfect for mounted attacks and one/one close melee attacks

Yes, that's true.

The model is awesome! Good work :p

Only one little detail to achieve perfection: the curved spike should be (historically) on top, not on the middle. It was used to hook enemies by their ankles to knock them down. As it is right now, in the middle, I can't think a use for it.

Also, the handle of the halberd seems to disappear into the clothes in the lower part.

The Weapon is the CaH Easterling weapon, so blame EA :evgr:
I don't think we need to fiddle with it. Things going into other things of a model is rather common in just about ALL models really. It's basically sloppy modeling from EA from the start. EA models that we edit into what we need, but it's virtually impossible to make them perfect when the original model is not. Trust me - this hero will look awesome in game and like Ed said, it will support mounted too so we might give him a horse too, so he can ride with the Kataphrakts =)

without EA, you wouldn't have had this game to mod on in the first place. :evgr: give them that much credit.

Perhaps it's just the angle. I don't remember the CaH weapon looking like that. I'm sure it will look great in game, though.

I'm doing an academic challenge thing over the next 60 days, and that means no video games, so I probably won't play SEE for a while, maybe not until 4.7.
