Same here, I don't care whether they are dead or not, and besides, Borimir is in the movies right? (well, one of them) Isn't that what this mod is about? The movies?

Trying to hold on...

I'm against most heroes that died before the War of the Ring, yes ;)

Boromir = Doesn't count in my view, since he dies during the war, and is a major part of the story ;)
Smaug = He's not a real hero, he's just summoned, and he doesn't really bug me :p
Balin = The thing about him, is that he would be okay to have, if Moria was part of the Erebor faction ;) (or is it still called Dwarves?) But since there's no living dwarves in Moria, and no dwarven realm left there, it seems out of the order to have him alive and breathing... And come on, there's plenty of dwarves to pick from :D

Of course, heroes that's been dead longer than Smaug (60 years, aye?), I wouldn't say yes to at any point ;)

edit: And even if this is a movie mod, Balin is dead in the movies too :D
And of course, you can't have any men from the Prologue, or Gil-Galad :p

I do agree with Lauri! I think it's ok to have Heroes who were alive during or short before the War of the Ring, as it is a good way to have more variety while staying true to the lore (better using Tolkien characters who belong to that period rather than create new ones).

I like the new Dwarf even if it's a WIP! Good job!

Thanks to some pretty admireable efforts of boring binding work, Ed3rd (Ed of the 3rd Kind) rigged this nice model of Azog on Warg, which means we can FINALLY get rid of that darn scorpion :p

Hehe, Ed of the 3rd King... that was funny! :D But indeed, he's sorta a King amongst kings, of Modeling :D
Glad y'all like it =) I do too (as you might guess), hehe.

The Scorpion model is good loooking, but way off in this scenario. I'll use it in multiple versions scaled down for Rhûn fortress Scorpion expansion instead using same funcion as the Spiderling expansion for Moria ;)

Finally that's done..
I have no idea on why my model never worked.. I binded it correct, but some polies didn't move at all..
And I also remember that one part of the model were invisible.. :D

Lauri - you have no idea how awkward this model was, I had similar problems but had to go in and practically bind the problematic vertices one by one, took me a few hours but got it done to reasonable level eventually, at one point everytime he raised his arms there would be a big hole. It wasn't a question of bad binding just and extremely badly seamed model... whoever made this model hid it's flaws very well cos it's not till you extract and rebind it that they all show up.

Ah, so it wasn't all bug-free..
Well, it's good you got it done ;) Gobbos aren't really the same without a real hero on a warg :D

Indeed! This hero will now fit perfectly with all them Warg riders of yours ;)
At some stage, I will ask one of you to put your (Lauri's) warg rider gobbo lua wonder onto the Wolfes (or is it "wolves"?) :D

wolves.. I think..
Wolfs are, you know, the Wolfs TV... ;)

And I still don't really like the wolf-riders thing.. You wouldn't ride a dog, and probably not a wolf :D Their gobbos though, so I won't oppose :D

Hm, damn it... why do you always have such a good point! :D ;)
Hmmm... maybe it's better to use the Wolf pack instead?

I believed the intent for the wolves is that they were larger than your normal wolf, It may not look as funny if you could enlarge the wolf model.

But I don't want them that way. I want them as normal wolves... and maybe the gobbos are a tad too big then. I dunno... I feel a bit sick of the whole warg/wolf debate now :D We've been over this again and again. I will ask in the Tolkien topic! ;)

I answered in the topic, and after reading at Thain's book... I'm against wolf-riders :D
Wolf packs could work really well though :xcahik_: As long as they don't have charging abilities :D (you know, run over people)
One thing that could be really cool though, could be an charge-attack.. them jumping at the enemy, biting or whatever, and gaining a little bonus at first attack ;)
