Boromir = Doesn't count in my view, since he dies during the war, and is a major part of the story
Smaug = He's not a real hero, he's just summoned, and he doesn't really bug me
Balin = The thing about him, is that he would be okay to have, if Moria was part of the Erebor faction (or is it still called Dwarves?) But since there's no living dwarves in Moria, and no dwarven realm left there, it seems out of the order to have him alive and breathing... And come on, there's plenty of dwarves to pick from
Of course, heroes that's been dead longer than Smaug (60 years, aye?), I wouldn't say yes to at any point
edit: And even if this is a movie mod, Balin is dead in the movies too
And of course, you can't have any men from the Prologue, or Gil-Galad

Hehe no worries... we won't have Gil, nor Balin
I do agree with Lauri! I think it's ok to have Heroes who were alive during or short before the War of the Ring, as it is a good way to have more variety while staying true to the lore (better using Tolkien characters who belong to that period rather than create new ones).
I like the new Dwarf even if it's a WIP! Good job!

Glad y'all like it =) I do too (as you might guess), hehe.
The Scorpion model is good loooking, but way off in this scenario. I'll use it in multiple versions scaled down for Rhûn fortress Scorpion expansion instead using same funcion as the Spiderling expansion for Moria

Hmmm... maybe it's better to use the Wolf pack instead?

Wolf packs could work really well though As long as they don't have charging abilities (you know, run over people)
One thing that could be really cool though, could be an charge-attack.. them jumping at the enemy, biting or whatever, and gaining a little bonus at first attack
