wait no i think i got it i put it in the c driive under my computer then local disk 3 except now the folder is like tinted idk how to describe it..like its not full color idk watever i deleted it from my documents and now the shortcut just takes me back to the folder ...something must be wrong

Oh, it's hidden? Well, re-unrar it RIGHT TO C:\ and then keep the target the same. It should work!

I can't manage to play the game and I don't know why to be honest
For some reason I cannot install the 2.01 patch either...
I do have a mod for BFME2; SEE, does that influence the stuff?

ok i downloaded 1.06 (looks amazing!! ) but.... i started with transfering all the stuff with winrar...made a folder then copied the shortcut to desktop ... then it went to the regualr game ! grr (i did put the 1.06 folder in the c:drive)............Should i delete all of the 1.05 folder suff and then it would work?

There is no need for the other RJ folder, but you should be able to run either version. You can switch back and forth between the two.

since the two folders are named differently and their respective shortcuts point to different folders, both this and the last version of the mod should be able to coexist. so there is no reason why you shouldnt be able to have both folders in your c:\ drive and be able to play both of them.

make sure that the path for your mod folder is "C:\RJ_RotWK_1_06" and not "C:\RJ_RotWK_1_06\RJ_RotWK_1_06"
sometimes when extracting, people accidentaly put the folder into another folder of the same name and dont notice it. this would cause the mod to not run and the normal game would launch.

This mod works using something called -mod command. This means the installation is slightly different (but hopefully easier)
Follow these simple steps, and it should work
1) Extract the RAR file you downloaded. To open an RAR file, you must have winrar installed (avaliable free from HERE!)
2) Inside the rar, you will find the mod files (named RJ_Rotwk) a shortcut (to run the mod) and some text documents, which are credits and instructions.
3) Drag the mod files (RJ_Rotwk) to your C: directory
4) Drag the shortcut onto the desktop
The mod should now run. However you may need to adapt the above if your drives are named with different letters. Yours seems to be E: so place the mod there. Then you need to right click the shortcut, and change anywhere it says c: to e: in the 'target' and 'start in' fields
If it doesn't don't panic, there are several things you may need to check.
1) You have the latest EA patch installed (2.01)
2) You don't have any other mods installed in the program files directory.
Let us know if you have any difficulty with this
So yeah Shikari, I have downloaded 1.05.06v, I have the 2.01 patch, I have done everything as you suggested above, everything in my rar file of RJ_RotWK seems to be in place when I look at what everyone else has been saying on here, the target is correct and it's still not working. If it has anything to do with it- I am running on vista, but I don't see why that would change anything + I have a legit version.
I'm dying to play this mod, PLEASE HELP.
