Hi, I've just downloaded it and I did something wrong... but how can I uninstall the mod again?... ;)

And gah, I should've had more info in the readme.. :p

3. Installation and Uninstallation
The 4th Age is currently being installed. Once the installation is complete, you have to manually un-install the mod. To do this, go into you computer, then type in %appdata%\My Battle for Middle-earth Files\ in the Adress bar. There, you should see some files, and to remove The 4th Age, delete the tfa.big, ReadMe_tfa and tfa icon. NOTE: only the tfa.big is the mod. If you don't have the english version of the game, then go to %appdata%\ and find your game's folder. The name should be a translation of My Battle for Middle Earth Files, so you should find it easily.

Found new bug ;) but this one isn't cool.

When playing as Rohan, you start whit those Milita and a Captain.
That Captain can't throw his spear! However, you can left click it so he would use it whenever he needs it, but still doesn't work :p

Ah, yes... Didn't check through Rohan before I got the release out.. ;)
Thing is, I decided to scrap the Idea... So, it's just a button that's in th way :p

Edit: got them, but I still get a Debug message when I want to start my game. How can I upload a picture or something?

I can play it now - and I've found a bug :p

A Rhûn Farm costs 250, if you sell it, you only get 100 back. I don't think you did this on purpose :)

Well, I haven't done anything to define values from those things...

But I'm guessing it's from the normal 200 cost of a Gondor and Rohan farm, and I don't really think that 25 off is enough to really make me change it.... :p

Did you know that Rhun farms are cheaper then the Rohirric and Gondorian farms?

May want to check the objects (read: Isengard banners) to be found in and around the Rhun castle :p

Yeah, I think Lauri planned it with the purpose to differentiate the armies a bit. The outside farms of Rhun are more expensive than the ones of the other armies.

Castle farm: 300
Outside farm: 250

compared to

Gondor castle farm: 350
Gondor outside farm: 200

right?

Any input on if I should keep it that way or not is wished :) It's not a killer difference in the speeds, but they aren't as good as the Rohan mounted archers ;)

What I found was, Rohan mounted archers do a lot of damage to cavalry. So they can easily chase down Rhun cavalry, absolutely decimate them and the Rhun cavalry can't escape due to their slow speed, so cavalry for Rhun isn't at all viable vs Rohan. The best solution for this while keeping faction diversity would imo be to give Rhun cavalry very good armour vs pierce attack type. Or alternatively make horse shields recruitable for them from a level 1 stable (can't remember if you included horse shields or not :D). I know this is going into balance when the mod isn't even fully completed yet, but you asked for thoughts :lol:

I asked for input, because it's better that I make it more balanced towards the next beta, than to keep it unbalanced until the final version, and have to release that twice... :p

The thing I'm look towards the most though, is to have the normal horse speed... It's just that when I speeded it, I envisioned them different than the Riders of Rhun, but they are pretty much alike... I also forgot that the slow speed for units should up the crush damage, but you don't use that to much for horse archers anyways... :D
I will also consider remaking both the horsemen of Rhun with more armor, and make them look tougher, and be.. slower :p However, that sucks in the ways that the heroes will then run from them... And where's the fun in sending your army against 10.000 uruk's, only to find out your two heroes comes half a minute before your army... :lol: if you get my point... :p

I found a couple of bugs.. Firstly, Farin's axe throw...well...doesn't thow any axes. He does Eomer's spearthrow anim and that's it. Also, the rhun calvary's crush is way too strong. It auto kills almost every unit except the elites and heroes. Another bug that I found is that the farms start at level two. The Kingdom of Gondor spell still doesn't work. And Eldaravir is pretty weak -.- 2000 for a hero that has 900 hp and 30 damage?? Anyways, I just changed his values so that's no longer a problem for me but you should consider buffing him up a bit ;) He IS my favourite hero after all

Rohan isn't finished yet...

Another bug that I found is that the farms start at level two.


The outside farms does always start at Level 2 ;)

Nono, it's good that bring it up now :p
Gives me something to fix ;) And it's easier to balance the mod if other's give their opinions :) (like super-crushing)

Oh, and did you mean the outside farms? They are suppose to be level 2 right away, but maybe you meant the castle\camp farms?

And I've already considered to do something about Eldaravir, but he still won't be the best hero ;)
