Has the team add a new unit/technology/hero to Isengard?

O reed by the living pool! Fair river-daughter!
O spring-time and summer-time, and spring again after!

Isengard has had a few changes. There are some reskins, and 2 new heroes, ugluk and wulf. There's probably other things too which have slipped my mind.

well imo, isengard was one of the best put together factions in the original bfme2 and so it doesnt need many changes. theres not much missing lore-wise either so we are relatively devoid of things that make sense to add. as of now i dont see what needs to be added to isengard, but if anyone has ideas id be interested to hear 'em.

Uruks scouts are rather pointless...they'll go to inn if anything.

The only thing we'll probably do is tweak heroes and siege and change out deathbringers for something else.

I think that uruks should be speeder than the over infantry units of other faction.
This is, for my part, the reputation of uruks.Don't you think?

Ugluk gives all uruks around him a speed boost in the private beta...so get him and they'll be able to run down almost any infantry.

i recall you saing that its hard to give them speed boost becouse the animations will look weird - at least something like this, when we were speaking about this topic ( movement, attack speed increasing abylity )
"Let this scar signify the first blow against the mortal world."

15% is actually a lot when it comes to movement :p Especially attack speed, though I'm not sure if his boost applies to that.

Lets say a unit doing 50 damage attacks once each second. With a 15% increase, every 7 seconds they get an extra attack in. So thats 400 damage in 7 seconds (compared to 350 before), which over time is usually better than a straight damgage bonus in the long run.

Movement is also very useful...because almost every unit except dwarves and elves move at about the same speed. With a 15% increase, uruks go faster than almost all of them, and are able to escape from chasing units or heroes, or run fleeing units/heroes down.

15 % can be a good choice. It depend of the range of the speed boost...
If Ugluk can boost 5 or 6 uruls squadron, this power can be more usefull that you think, Myrdin !

no need to tell me Pipo, for i was one of the poeple who desired most an aura that gives your unit movement/attack speed bonus. And it was me who was pretty cooled down, with negative responses.
soo i em of these people who know that this thing would be awasome ( + other hero leadershpi = cool )

but 15% is just not enough - at least make it to 20% ( such nice rounded number :thumbsupsmiley: )

I do find it odd that in the public beta the unarmored, untrained Wildmen cost more (and are better, I'd assume) than the well-outfitted and ferocious Uruk swordsmen.

They are actually pretty good units. It's just hard to use them early game since you need to get more money since they cost 350, also you can get torches for another 150.
It's easier to use Uruks since they cost less and they have better units once leveled.
