I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

@grizzlez: ah, for the first beta, i would be releasing a playable faction, Narnia. Hopefully, the faction will be completely finished to perfection at that point.
I will also release the Telmarine faction, featuring just one unit, the hero Miraz.
i noticed in your profile it said skinner and FX editor. that happens to be my weak spot in modding, so i would really like to have you on the team.
@everyone: here is the final tech tree for the Narnia faction.

Glad to see the Narnia Faction is coming together. I have a few more ideas for you to help perfect it though.
Heroes, the skills and everything look great, but with oreius, when i said Faster, i meant Faster attack speed, not faster movement speed. Still, its not like a huge crippling effect otherwise.
Units, if I'm not mistaken, in the first movie, there are a few fauns and satyrs who seem to be weilding some kind of Spears or Glaives (spear with a long, curved blade) Maybe you could create a spear unit based on that...or perhaps make an upgrade, making the Basic Narnian infantry more versatle(i dont care if i spelled it wrong)
No complaints or suggestions with the powers.
For buildings...I would suggest merging the Centaur Stables and Meeting Stone into something like an Oracle's Stone. After all, the in both movies seem to be stargazers and oracles. I think it would fit them better than a stable, which implies that they are just common horses. As for Giants, it would allow them to be recruited at rank 2 or 3. If you read the second book, it says that Centaurs brought Caspian a Giant for his army. I think it fits lore.
The Dryad Cluster...Don't take this hard, but the name...
Instead, I would call it something like the Enchanted Grove.
In addition, the Narnian Armory i would call something like Aslan's Forge. The name kind of sounds better to me.
The Faun Cave i would accually call something like a Dancing Lawn. Considering that Fauns usually gather for a Dance or a War, i think a Dancing Lawn would be more likely to Attract a crowd of war-eager fauns than a single Cave would.
I would add something like a Beast Homestead, which is a big Cave cluster, like that one the Witch attacked in the First Movie, right after the kids flee from Beaver's Home. If the name hasn't suggested it yet, this is where you recruit your beasts. As a bit of a buff for Narnia, i would make it an option to build a Beast Homestead on those small settlements, simulating a little village of Beasts.
Keep up with it as much as you can. Im still trying to make a piece worth using. If i can do so, ill let you know.

As for me joining, there isn't enough shown and after I finishd my final exam I'm going to be mainly working on modelling and learning animating thrugh 3ds MAX so with that and working for RJ I won't have enough time to help another. I've also got several other smaller projects on the go at the moment as well.
The way to get more people to join the team, is normally for the leader to have experience in the more visual side like modelling and skinning so they can make the new units which people like and are then encouraged to join.

Ive now seen the new Narnia film, so there's definately a lot of funny characters like the crazy mouse you can include. However, you said about releasing a beta with the Telmarine faction, but there is only one unit to show so there is no point really.

I would hardly call Reepicheep Crazy. Impulsive maybe, but not crazy.
I won't argue with the fact that a strong, able leader makes a team come together, but i have high hopes. And even if it never gets off the ground, we at least had a good time chatting and brainstorming.
Anyway, to Jeth, Sorry about my last post being as a guest. i didnt realize i wasn't logged on.

Aslan's Forge is pretty cool sounding, I'll go with that.
a Dancing Lawn and Oracle Stone would perhaps be more canonical, but i really need buildings. Those ideas would be excellent for like BFME II, but they wouldn't fit in a BFME I castle or camp. unless, of course, the camps and castles are non-enclosed like Mordor's and Isengard's. get what i mean? however, i do get your point on using the word stable. i'll avoid using that word in the future in connection to centaurs.
on second thought, that Beast Homestead might be the ideal resource building. make it look like a opening to a single cave, with the beasts being like peasants.
kinda like a hobbit hole. download Scouring of the Shire and look at the Hobbit farms to get the feel of what i am suggesting.
i think that most buildings might be some sort of tent structure, would fit the movie. (which i am so going to watch again over and over)
i'll look out for those spear wielding fauns and satyrs and get back on that with you. but it is extremely promising.

As for the Narnian Castles or Camps, I think not having walls would be more plausible, considering that the Narnians are, Theoretically speaking, Rebels and Havn't had the time to build permanent fortresses. The only fortress the Narnians seem to have is Cair Paravel, and since no battles have happened there yet, it wouldn't really be plausible.
Tents for structures sounds alright too. If we decide on it, a beast homestead might not be a bad idea as a resource building. After all, as Pattertwig the Squirrel said in the recent movie "We could gather nuts." With all do seriousness, the beast homestead does sound good.
Glad you like the Aslan's Forge idea.

Also, you should have Aslan's How as the Narnian Fortress with Dwarven Archer sentries (the Dwarves are mainly archers).

If this mod goes BFME II, you MUST make Aslan the Ring-Hero for Narnia. The White Witch as the Ring-Hero for Evil, and Caspian IX for the Telmarines.
Also, you should have Aslan's How as the Narnian Fortress with Dwarven Archer sentries (the Dwarves are mainly archers).
First of all, while we appreciate suggestions, we would perfer it if you would suggest what we COULD or MIGHT do, not what we SHOULD or MUST do. No offense if that was in any way offensive, but unless you wanted to join the crew, I don't like it when people use a demanding tone like that.
Jeth and I have agreed (at least I believe so) that Caspian will have his own faction, and that he will be separate from the Telmarines. In regards to ring heroes, Aslan i agree with on the ring hero thing. The Witch and Caspian i disagree with. For the Witch's faction i dont know who the ring hero would be, same for the Telmarines (and before you say it, NOT Miraz) For Caspian's faction, it will also most likely be Aslan. The Witch will be a hero for her own side. But perhaps it would be plausible to create a more powerful version of the Witch. Dont get too involved with this discussion though. The BFME II version wont begin until we at least have a decent springboard for the BFME I version.
In regards to maps and forts for BFME 1, there will most likely be maps of the Witch's Castle, Cair Paravel, Aslan's How, and Miraz's castle. There will also likely be maps of Beruna, The Stone Table(before Aslan's How was built over it), Lantern Waste, Beaversdam, The Frozen Lake, and maybe a few others. To Jeth, making maps is something im not too bad at. If i can learn a bit about how to make a campaign, i might make a campaign for the game. I havent talked to Jeth about that option yet though, and even if he agrees, im not 100% sure i could do something like that.

I was thinking about what you said about needing buildings. While i still think that it fits Narnia to not have walled encampments, I do have a building suggestion or two. If you do want walls, perhaps we could make a sort of Rocky Outcrop system or an old Henge of some kind around the camp. These walls could be reached by climbing up rocky stairs, and beneath a large landbridge, the Narnians were able to build a wooden gate. Just a suggestion, but i think it would look really cool in game, and it does sort of fit in with the location of Aslan's Camp in the first movie!
For recruiting Centaurs, maybe a Shrine of The Great Lion, which had a statue of Aslan, and directly in front of the statue is a small Pavilion. Maybe from there you can recruit your Centaurs and Giants. Plus, it gives a building so they dont basically appear out of thin air when you recruit them. While the Mine idea is a good one, i think it may accually suit the Witch's faction better than Aslan's. So here is my suggestion for Narnia's Buildings
Great Tent-Narnian Citidel. Recruit heroes here
Beast Homestead-Provides food as a resource, Recruits Beasts. Reduced cost of Cavalry
Dancing Lawn OR Barrack Tent(your choice)-Recruits Fauns, Satyrs, and Dwarves
Shrine of The Great Lion-Recruits Centaurs and Giants
Aslan's Forge-Upgrades troops
Statue of the Lion-same as all other statues
Glade-Same as Well
Wall upgrades:
Tower-A rocky ledge with a Centaur Bowman who fires at any approaching enemies.
Postern Gate-A small hole in the wall you can secretly move through
Banner of Aslan-A Rocky Ledge with a Dwarven or Faun banner carrier which provides a leadership bonus to wall defenders
