Altered. That should be better.

In other news, I have just posted up the real map of Arsencia. Huzzah!
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Hey Mike, I've had this revolutionary idea: why not post in the storylines with which your characters are involved? :p

Also, what do you guys think of the new and better map?

I love it, great work making europe look unfamiliar and yet still europe. The only suggestion i can think of is making the water a little more distinguished from the land, like shaded lightly gray or something. But great work. :p

I would have done, but after I scanned it I realised that I can't just use the filler tool because it's all very slightly different shades of not-quite-white, so would have to be done very slowly and very painstakingly, taking a lot of time I was not prepared to relinquish.

Yeah... I godmodded Morion a little bit and I'm sorry. But. Tom Joad will make an appearance in the morning and you can have Morion back :p

EDIT: Mike, where is your user title from? I remember it from somewhere but I can't remember where and it's bothering me.

Hey, I love to see other's interpretations of him :p And it's from Vort's writeup of the Greater Demon's dialogue from the closure to Chapter Three.

Get gimp, its free and is extremely useful for stuff like that. It really is just like a free version of photoshop, much better than ms paint(which is what I've always been using till now). In a couple of clicks i easily changed the water colour (using the fuzzy select tool and then going to colourise option)

Here:

(i left it as a very watermarked/subtle blue for the water)

Yoink.

Copaman: Mike's user title is from this post, which is one of my favourites too. I very much enjoyed writing it, and am now in fact going to read it again. :p

SWG, I have taken the liberty of renaming one of the two humans and slightly editing the grammar of your post. (You still don't seem to have got the hang of punctuation inside the quotation marks.) Anyway, he is no longer called Vince, partly because that's, like, the least Arsencian name ever, and partly because I hate it as a name anyway.

You do realise Vince was the shortened form, right?

And if you did, how is Vincent unfitting?

You'll notice that 'Tom' is the only name from the real world which is in use in Arsencia, and even that is an alias. Besides, I strongly dislike the name Vincent in all its forms, a fact to which I alluded above.

Hey guys, what did I miss? I've been getting ready for A Midsummer Night's Dream lately, and haven't had much time... but I'm back now. Mostly.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

Been either drinking or working solidly for the past five days, and working for the next five. On top of which, my damn wireless connection has gone down again, and my useless unemployed/unemployable siblings utterly failed to get around to fixing it. Irritating, I say, but I'll get back sooner or later. You guys feel free to do some stuff. Anything, really.

Guys! Guys! I finally finished my week of solid working and weekend of solid drinking (we started at about 10.30 a.m. on Saturday and ended at about 2.00 a.m. on Monday :crazed:). Anyway, I'm now going to bump all three storylines and get some action rolling out again. Just in case this happens again, you know you guys are more than welcome to push a storyline along in any direction you want. That's the point of having multiple storylines, it's not all running to a defined plot.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.
