Was it really determined that most people preferred Hasfusel's names? I don't remember such a consensus ever being reached. I know I don't have any problem with the ones currently in the game.

There were more spelling+grammer mistakes in that post than I have fingers dalf :p - yoda
i dont exactly worry about correct grammar most of the time when posting yoda :p

I believe Hasfusel's talking about the bugs with using the new heroes in WOTR.

Well both happen anyways. I think I just played the campaign out of order :p

Whenever you win a battle with a new hero in WotR mode, the game crashes. That's what I meant.

Also, will the taster mission for the Evil linear campaign work?

I've been able to fix the bug with the new heroes and just need to make sure they are all fixed.

Yeah, just beat the trial mission for the Good linear. Seriously.

The one aspect I really, really want is to get rid of the Aitheons. Please. They look so out of place while making no sense whatsoever to the lore or... well, common sense. I hate them.
Wouldn't anyone have noticed if there were Morgul towers visible from miles away dotted across every square kilometer of Rohan and Gondor countryside? Especially with the friggin' green lazer beams shooting up into the sky?

Those maps are not meant to be realistic so much, they're fun multiplayer maps. In the future we'll probably make better buildings but it's not top of the priority list because there are so many other cool things we want to do which actually add to the game, changing those buildings is just a visual thing and those maps are not played as often as regular skirmish maps. All in good time they'll be changed, they're only placeholder objects at the moment anyway so that the gameplay could be tested out :good:

Please change the nazgul names or at least put it up to a vote. The whole brilliance of LOTR and tolkien's work is that its completley original and alsoeverything makes sense in relation to the whole theme. The nazgul names we have at the moment sound like something (no offence to who ever chose the names, I'm just making an observation) out of a Hans Christian Anderson story.

I completely agree there, Watcher. That's why I came up with better names. Hopefully we can have a vote for changing them. I think the current names detract from the feel and atmosphere of the game.

I don't really like you names either... IMO the best way to do the nazgul is unnamed, like Decipher did them. They may have been kings before and such, but both the book and the films portray them as pretty much faceless. Just use quenya for Wraith One, Wraith Two, etc ;).

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

What, you don't like mine or you don't like the current ones?
I don't like the idea of giving them numbers because it would be so hard to keep track of them all.

I'd really like a vote on whether we should have the current names, my names or something like Nertea suggested.

If anything, I kind of agree with Nertea. The Quenyan names would be alright I guess, but I kind of like seeing differentiation between the Ringraiths by giving them names. But that's just me.

For the unofficial poll, my vote is to keep them the way they are. I'm already use to the names (I can even name them all with their level 10 powers by memory, if you'll allow it :p ) and I just like the fact that RJ-ROTWK has them portrayed as wraiths with their own personal histories. -Which has always been a private curiosity of mine.

Those names which are in the mod from some card game I suppose? They are better than "Naz 1","Naz 2" etc. And I hate it when someone makes something up with no references
Fan of mods:
RJ-ROWTK, Massive Middle-earth, Elven Alliance,
Battles of Narnia, Lone Wolf, Rhovanion Alliance,
Age of the Firstborn, The Fourth Age, Battles of Gondor,
Note: Mods are not "how much I like them" order

Cant the Nazguls be named after the rings that each were given(I'm not sure if there are any refrences to the names of theses rings but if there are it would be pretty cool) Plus I dont think we should argue too much about this now. There are more important things(like getting the Mod finished) and once thats done we can decide the names and add them in at the end.

I'd rather have my names... And I have personal histories for them, too... :(
I'm sure you'd soon get used to the better ones...

this looks so amazing great job rob :p
