Scotland just threw away a 10-point lead in the last 8 minutes of their Six Nations tie against Wales to lose 31-24. I'm not sure if I'm angry that the team I wanted to win made such a complete hash of the end of the match or happy that I just witnessed some of the most exciting rugby I've ever seen.

The recent snowstorm brought down many trees and killed my house's power, heating, internet and phones for a full day. Last night, we asked our new neighbors if we could plug an extension cord into one of the outlets on their house to get out boiler running again. The father said they didn't have any outlets, went inside and locked the door. Also, I had to carry frozen logs through two feet of snow to my house and keep a fire going with barely any wood, combined with shoveling 2200 cubic feet of global warming (yeah, right..) off of my driveway.
