I vent that to get into University to do a Bachelor of Arts I need to come up with a portfolio which must include some kind of Life Drawing portion.
I don't draw peoples,just not what I do.
Sigh
I better get practising it's been ages since I've done any life drawing.

Speaking of virus protection, I came back from holiday to find that mine has expired. Perhaps I should have paid attention to those warning thingummies that kept coming up. Anyway, has anyone got any free software they'd like to send me? :p It's either that or beg my sister to burn a pirate copy of something off her work computer.

Just get Microsoft Securities Essentials, which is free and should do the job. Plus one of the free firewalls like ZoneAlarm.

AVG does the trick very well, too.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

I did not get my drivers licence today. I deserved to fail though, given how bad of a day I had on the road :D

Still sucks

Man, no worries. Driving tests are ridiculous and arbitrary anyway. Second time out I got failed for not looking over my shoulder enough while reversing round a corner on a long, clear, straight, empty road. Then in my third test I passed despite getting the engine question wrong, running a red light, hitting the kerb and accidentally questioning my examiner's virtue, by which I mean implying that she was a massive slut. I still can't figure out what was going through my head or why she still passed me. Maybe just to make sure I wouldn't come back. :p

The best drivers pass third time round :p

I never questioned an examiners virtue, though I did get told off for excessive swearing in my second test!

Driving tests are ridiculous and arbitrary anyway.

Yeah, well I had a terrible day at the road, and fully deserved to fail :p
But overall, I'm a decent driver, and shouldn't have a problem getting it next time, as long as I don't repeat any of the mistakes I did this time ;)

The examiner did write "High security risk on the roads" on the paper I got, so that's pretty neat though :p

I passed second time. I've been driving for about two years now, and have zero infractions of any sort to date.

Have you had any of those little accidents like where you grab something off the back seat and flatten one of your tyres against the kerb or anything? Because I've had two of them, and one of where I went sideways over a level crossing and brought down a sign. Two days after my test, that was. Good times.

Yes, honestly, but luckily only an hour or two of hotfixing work was lost.

In case anyone is interested, uninstalling BFME and deleting skirmish profiles wipes the whole My BFME Files folder, not just skirmish profiles :p.

I vent that I still haven't got a scanner and that my friend who was going to give me his old one hasn't.
It means I can't scan my awesome concept drawings and I do mean awesome there are some really nice ones here.

I vent that we have American relatives coming round to-day, and we have little in common; it's going to be so awkward. Apparently they love "all things British"... another uninformed tourist. Should one pander to the stereotype? I shall permanently glue a mug of tea to my hand, wear my less-than-perfunctory bowler hat, pronounce my 'a's as 'r's, overuse the pronoun 'one', and talk of nothing but the Queen and horse-riding on the rolling fields of Chester-Rutherford-Ashington Shire. Oh, and form a queue of one wherever unnecessary.
Scone anyone?

Don't forget the bad teeth and bad cricket playing.

(I don't even follow cricket but it's in our constitution to belittle the English's skill at sports)
