My Political Compass
Sieben Elefanten hatte Herr Dschin
Und da war dann noch der achte.
Sieben waren wild und der achte war zahm
Und der achte war's, der sie bewachte.

Well, while we're comparing levels of life-suckage, I went sixteen years as well to get one relationship... which turned into a "rough breakup", to put it mildly, and a year-long court battle over custody of our child. Since then, I've tried five or six times to get even a casual relationship going, to epic failure each time. Huzzah.Been there. Trust me. I went for about 16 years without having one. And I've only had like 3 in my life. You and me both know it sucks not having one. But it also sucks when you do, and they wont leave you alone. I've spent 6 of the last 7 days with her, and she is eating up all my time. It's pissing me off... I like being my own person too...
But yeah, I know what you mean. Just don't let her move in

She's had a rough past, and things sometimes get sticky in her life. But the bottom line is, I'm 18, and act more like an adult. She's 16, and acts like a teenage girl. I want someone older, and more mature. But I can't break her heart... She's "in love" with me. (though, it's not fake... I don't think.)Have you thought about telling her that? Anyway, advice time: if she's going through anything genuinely upsetting, you have to be there for her all the way, that's just the way relationships work. If she's not and is just being clingy, you have two options: #1, explain the situation to her and ask her to let you have a bit more time to yourself, or #2, break up. If you want different things from the relationship, it won't work. Trust someone who's been through it and save yourself the time and trouble.
