I thought the first rule of screwing with your system is to know what you're doing before you make any permanent changes? I've ruined my laptop a couple of times, yet the solution was only a backup away.

Also, Vort, I haven't seen the first season of SG-1 (only 3-10), but I heard it only gets really good halfway the second season. Stargate Atlantis' first season is excellent, and Stargate Universe is pretty good too. The new Battlestar Galactica series is a serious recommendation if you're into dark, gritty scifi and heavy character drama, and Caprica is pretty neat as well.

Let's vent together drogoth.. Or, it wouldn't have been so bad for me if it wasn't the University.. first of 4 years... I'm both horrified and looking forward to it, because I don't have a clue on how it'll be.. If I'm given too much freedom I'm gonna have trouble :p
Still wish I could turn back time 4 years though, and choosen another another path on my "upper secondary school" I guess the term would be.. Had I choosen another path that I wanted (I did what I wanted atm, but now I'm very much regretting..) I would've been through the Learning Year in a job, and gone to have a full salary.. Instead, I have to go another 4 years and probably that next year with Learning (those years, you're wager is very low)..
Sucks to have choices guys :p Yeah, glad we have 'em, but still!

Well atleast education's free* in Norway and I'm allowed to stay free of charge at home 'till I'm done :D

*Everything costs, but it's not more than a couple of new games acctually..

And there are the now and then strike, so maybe the salary ups a bit more.. I am gonna teach the peoples kids, so they better pay taxes that goes in my pocket :p

Tough but rewarding career choice Lauri. :p

Heh... I chose a profession where some people think that all we do is snatch up children for our own pleasure. We also are consistently the lowest paying college educated professionals in America. Bring it on! :p

I may have a free house, but I forgot that I'd need to cook when I get home from work - damn, it's going to be late.

I thought you studied English? Anyway, I've considered studying history, but I don't see myself teaching to a bunch of annoying mid-puberty brats ;)

Studied, yes. Switched to history, more of a challenge. Might end up including social studies and English in my portfolio still.

Oh. Come to think of it, history would fit you, too. You know, I'm already considering to study history myself.

But to teach something? Nah, can't see me doing that.

Teaching's not very difficult, at least from what I experienced during my internships last year. But then again, I am undeniably cool as a person, I guess it rubs off onto my teacher persona. And like Lauri said, the job is pretty secure, the money's good enough for a low-maintenance person like myself, and I like the oceans of vacation.

Teenagers don't scare me. ;)
