It's not hard to figure out how they work. It's hard to figure out how to work them. lol

No. It's important to understand how they work you, that's all. You'll never work them.

They're like a computer programme - great to use and incredibly nice once you figure out what all the buttons do, though impossible to take a peek at the source code and try to modify it.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Exactly, which is what I mean. They work us, we can't figure out how to work them.

My friends have once again proven themselves to be useless dickbags. We were planning to meet up and head to Alton Towers (big exciting theme park with rollercoasters and shit) tomorrow, but now this looks unlikely because they have all proven to possess a complete inability to think ahead more than about two days. What makes it more annoying is that this is one of the few times I actually did plan ahead.

You know, this may be the vent your anger topic, but this isn't making me any less pissed off.

I know exactly what you mean, those bastards are everywhere. Very annoying to be the only person who actually thinks about things before agreeing to anything.

The same thing happened on my birthday.
I had planned to make pizzas and play poker...
I've still go all the ingredients so I guess it's pizza again for lunch.

Yeah, I know that feeling all too well. One would think that with the rise of mobile phones with easy to use calendar-apps it would be easier to plan ahead...

This plan actually had a Facebook event to make things easier. It's been up for more than two months, yet my useless friends have cried off the day before. What the fuck.

Are you insulted? Don't get me wrong, I love America, but pointing out a significant attitude of the American populace, of which I am part, doesn't mean that it extends to every American. Had I said, "Kwen is an uptight prude", which I have no reason to think, would give you a perfectly good reason to feel insulted.

Edit: I also just got mind-f@#$ed, so you can basically disregard my previous post.

I'm just sick of being stereotyped as a "No good stuck up american" while not by anybody here (that I can remember) I just don't like it when various nations are generalized.

I dunno, sometimes it can be okay :p

I vent that kids these days are becoming increasingly arrogant and annoying. I was instructing some rock climbing today - the number of kids acting like idiots whilst someones life was literally in their hands was unbelievable.

Here's the reason Kwen, and don't ask why nations are generalised :p That's always been, and will always going to happen..

No, I rant...
No, I FUCKING RAGE over the fact that my laptop is KIA until I can fix it.
To give you an idea as to HOW bad, I accidentally changed how EXE files are read. Meaning EXE files no longer act like fucking EXEs.
Unless SOMEONE knows how EXE files are read... Laptop is confirmed KIA.
A changed man is only the same man with a different outlook of life.

I got that, so I took it to a guy I know and he fixed it, upgraded me to Windows 7, expanded my hard drive and fixed several persistent problems I didn't know my laptop had, as well as providing me with the first season of Stargate SG-1, which I haven't yet watched but for which I have high hopes. All in all, worked out pretty well.
