Why download when you can stream instead?
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

I vent that for the life of me I can't get BFME to install on my laptop.
The dvd drive on this thing sucks.
I can't even seem to get BFME2 working either.

Whats not working? Does it not read your CD/DVD?
At last resort I would say download it via a torrent, install it using your serial, this way you are not actually being illegal, because you have bought the game but the CD/DVD just does not want to work.

I'm torrenting a copy and bidding on a copy on ebay.

They worked before? Do other games work on the laptop? Have you checked via Can You Run It if you have a good enough of a CD/DVD drive?

Can You Run It is weird. I shouldn't be able to run Dragon Age, so says the thing, but I can.

How about you just check the minimum specs for the game and then compare them to what your laptop has? That should do it.

Rad: if none of them work, it's clearly not a problem with the discs or the files, but a problem with your laptop. Buying more copies won't help.

It's my fault for buying a HP they can't do anything right.

Double Vent.

Tonight I had to call the cops for the neighbour after a domestic.
Cops have taken away the guy,why do these things happen after midnight after getting home from work.

At least you have the warm, fuzzy feeling you get from doing the right thing?

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

I think the warm fuzzy feeling is sleep deprivation,Because of all of that I couldn't sleep properly making work very tiring.
Leading to my next vent.

I got woken up by people mowing, found that the bank had taken a direct debit out at the wrong time so I'm now overdrawn so couldn't buy the Coffee Milk I need to make it through the morning shifts and couldn't catch a cab to work and ended up at work late and veeeery tired.
Time for a nap.

I had problems 2 days in.
I've got another copy of BFME on it's way to me,hopefully it works.

At the moment I can use worldbuilder on my laptop which is something at least.
I can play for at least 3 minutes or whatever it is so I can test some modding stuff.

HP customer support is terrible. And they admitted liability for manufacturing a faulty part for my series of laptop, but refused to put it on the warranty.

I've heard that many times, but I've had mine for 1.5 years now and haven't had a single problem.
