I vent that I'm currently in the center of a raging shit-storm of stress, anxiety, work, insomnia, sexual frustration and teenage angst.

All easily remedied with 5 minutes of solitude.

Or a high-powered high five and chest-bump. But you've got to really mean it or it doesn't work.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

The sexual frustration, too? Both of those methods suggest... interesting preferences.

Funny, my life is the exact opposite right now and it's making me unable to write.

No fuel left for the pilgrims

I sincerely hope that none of my British friends (Vort, Jack, et al) emigrate to the US. Every Brit I've met has become a pretentious phallic-charactered limey. Or as I like to think of them, a Triple B - a Bigoted British Bastard.

This may not apply to all of you guys, but the ones that I've met so far fit the description quite well.

I only plan to move to the USA if I ever go on a crime spree and have to flee the country. I'll settle in America, find someone who looks kinda like me and steal their identity, so you won't even know I'm British. Anyway, if it gets too much for you over there, you're welcome to come hang out in the old country.

I vent having a migraine throughout my voice recital, which made it so that I couldn't sing my musical theater piece. One of the only bloody songs I liked all year and I didn't get to sing it. Urgh.

How is that a 'Vent your anger' moment? Unless you're upset that it took you this long to watch Firefly. That would be understandable.

Dammit man, I was trying to be subtle :p I'm raging both that it's taken me this long to watch it and that there won't be any more of it.

Ah. Both very understandable complaints. Although recently there was talk of a fan-funded second series, based on Nathan Fillion commenting in an interview that if he had enough money he would buy the rights to Firefly and get it going again. Also, every single one of the cast said they'd be up for it, so that's cool.

Have you watched Serenity as well?

No, so far I've only watched the Pilot. I've got them all on DVD though, so I'm planning on watching an episode every night before I go to sleep for the next two weeks.

EDIT: I'm also going to vent that you haven't looked at this yet, Vortigern. As well as the rest of you :p

Dude, you gots to give us some time to reply. :p Anyway, good luck rationing it out. My first time, I just mainlined the whole series and then watched Serenity in the course of two days, and then I was like 'Awesome'. Then I watched my favourite episode again. If you're wondering, my favourite is the episode titled 'Out of Gas', closely followed by 'Shindig' and 'Objects in Space'. Anyway, there's plenty for you to look forward to.

Do you have water? You need that more than food, you'll dehydrate before you starve
