If I could use a horse ala Oblivion, I'd enjoy that.
If I had to acctually walk everywhere, or even run, I wouldn't enjoy it as much..

That would be fun. I just wish there was a game like that. But why are we using a topic about an existing combat game to talk about what would make a great open-world game?

If you want an Open World Middle-Earth ( or at least Eriador) try Lotro , they made in free in US now .And btw lotro actually has no magic in it , just flashy FX and Lore Masters use the powers of nature .Rune-keepers are a bit lore breaking but heh , that's it .
And at the matter at hand I'm dissapointed about WITN , they actually made something else that teaser was showing at the beginning .

Now if any of you have heard of assassin's creed, thats how the game play should be with you able to go anywhere andtime at anyplace. The biggest bumber is no character customization! I mean thats the best part of RPG's being able to give your character a little touch of you in it.
The mage thing I could deal with, but it will most likley be too over used, since when does anyone use the warrior anymore, since when are there true fighters.

Wow that actually makes me rethink my opinion about this game. But I still don't really like all the flashy FXs like flaming swords and stuff. I like to stick to normal swords, and I'm ok with normal arrows or fire arrows but anything besides that I don't really like.
