Not the elf chick part, the weapon itself. Doesn't seem like a weapon an elf would use. Though I am kinda tired of the female elf that seems to be in every game. I want to play a elf swordsman damnit.

Must be a small slip; I'm sure you meant the White Council. Not that it detracts anything from your general argument.... Galadriel was a part of the Council of Elrond.

I just saw Shelob in one of the trailers... 
Still, as long as it isn't a gargantuan piece-of-.....disappointment like Conquest was, and the gameplay is more promising than it looks I'm going to give it a go.
And that "spiked weapon" the female elf used... that's something that's supposed to be a staff. She's a "lore-master" apparently...

Think of it as a fantasy game that rips some stuff directly from the LotR lore, and it probably won't be as bad

BPK it wasn't Shelob in the Agandaur's trailer : it was just one of Mirkwood's spiders you'll have to face . But there are some similarities since they have both the rights of the movies and the books .....

Wow, even 7 years later, the fighting animations are barely better than RoTK was, IMO.

I know right? How long did I have the other one again?
I got Metro 2033 about a month ago, and it's pretty much my favorite game since Ocarina of Time.
Expect it back at Christmas though.

It looks pretty good,I hadn't been following it in ages.
The graphics look good the combat looks pretty standard but that's not always a bad thing.
A little unimaginative with the Elf,Man and Dwarf combo but I guess it has to feel familiar.

Man the blood looks horrible compared to everything else in the game, also the combat is kinda choppy. The graphics also suck for the combat animations and stuff.

Looks, well.. decent enough.. a decent OK.
Would love to have more companion sex\race\class options though. (Dwarven Archer, Elven Warrior and Human Ranger, all Male, no mages )
