It is general's power. You choose location and walls appear in circle. All enemy troops inside the circle stop moving and get trapped. Walls are immune to bullets, missiles and tank cannons. They can be destroyed by bombs and artillery only. If enemy does not have artillery, he can not break the trap and get out.


How vulnerable are the trapped units to allied artillery shooting the wall? Should a player who gets part of his army trapped expect to lose some of the trapped units by trying to get them out?

4 Patriots.
SAM - Surface-to-Air Missile. Patriot is SAM. Why to add another?


Sorry, I think I confused Contra & Remix (remix has sam sites for SW gen which act as extremely powerful but slow firing anti air).

Jump length is unlimited. It simply flies over water. You don't need to push any buttons - it takes off and lands automatically.

I guess the units are just normal units, but walled in. Just like there would be buildings around them. Just as vulnerable as any other second you would fire on them.

Some changes are not clear for me.
Let me see:
-Global build speed reducement by 2 times. Not too much?
-Supply stores will have 10 times more resources. Is it means 600k?
-Supply gatherers cost doubled. It means that GLA Workers will cost 400?
-Supply centers cost doubled. It means for example that USA have to pay (1 dozer -1000, PPlant -800, Supply -4000, Chinook -2400) ~8000-8500 and there are no defences, no WF, no Airfield, no second Supply. From 10k it will be the most boring, to sit and wait until 2 Chinooks deliver the money.
-Do we need Command Truck for Assault Gen's Sneak Attack?
-All rank 1 basic soldiers are equal in the begining. Minnigunners, Cyborgs, Flamethrowers and Tox rebels will recive their normal weapons after an upgrade at rank 1. How much does it cost? Will it be equal to all factions?
-USA and China WF are going offline when you don't have enough power. Why? Poeple will go on each others PP, and GLA has advatage against USA and China.
-Money generators are limited in tournament mode too (like superunits, superweapons, Commands, Heroes). Can't they gain money faster? Or supply gathers can gather the money faster (they're costly, and Supply docks holds 10 times more money).

But GLA still has an advantage. Unless you give them one or another building that is required to keep the arms dealer working... Something like... Lets say... An arms importer? Or is their kind of command center enough?

i fidn it quite an interesting change now your powerplants mean MUCH more and so defending them.


just remember that the tanks of USA and China are overall more powerfull then the tanks of GLA. also the overall defence structures from USA and china are more powerfull then the GLA defence structures, this means that usa and china can protect their powerplants easier then the GLA could with an "arms importer"

Sorry for the confusion, Creator, the reason i mention about that is because there is message board always show that Robot is the only Computer with AI, so it prefer me to fight Robot if i want to play with computer, but if you already added AI to every computer, never mind then.

Another thing, remember the first generation of Red Alert ? In the Skirmish, you can choose the Tech. level for the game, for example, you can choose only using infantry in this battle, or using not more than regular tank in another battle; it was quite fun to play that way sometime, so is it possible to create such option ?? Just wondering. :p

They are almost safe. The circle is big enough and enemy can move units far from dangerous area.


Some changes are not clear for me.
Let me see:
1 -Global build speed reducement by 2 times. Not too much?

1. It is not too much. Starcraft and Warcraft have even longer build speeds.
2. It means that supply docks are infinite. You will be able to gather resources during 5 hours of the game. The most of matches will end before the first dock expires.
3. Yes, but I played versus AI and changed my mind. 400 for GLA Worker, 900 for China Supply Truck is too much. I'm still unsure about this change. I will recalculate costs the second time.
4. The same as 3. It will be made.
5. Yes.
6. 1500 for all. Available at War Factory for China and at Black Market for GLA. So, you can not research it instantly. You need time to build structures.
7. Power plants are more significant now. The only reason of building them was to mantain base defenses and super weapons. But if you are at rank lower than 5 and don't use base defenses, you can spit on power and don't build power plants at all. It is inccorrect.
8. Money generators are limited in all modes. The only way to get faster income is to capture more oil derricks and more supply docks.

Another thing, remember the first generation of Red Alert ? I still think that this with resource gathers double cost (and supply center) is not such great idea. Slow down game a bit is good, but now playing with 10k and loose supply center would get most of the games end before rank 3. Even now, i can say i play 1/10 games till rank 5, thats a shame because there are such great things at rank 3 and 5 that rarely are played. Double cost wont give goal that you intend to putt in game, it will do opposite, people will concentrate on destroying supply center and win instantly.

War Factory that requires Power Plant, not bad, but not so great either. So if i am GLA and i manage to capture WF, it would give me nothing since i cant sell it, and i cant build China tanks (i need power plant too), is there a way to compensate it for GLA?

A part of replics are Persian (from UFO sound pack), a part - arabic (from your sound pack). As UFO asked, I added Persian replics to ususal combat units and Arabic replics - to kamikazes and toxin units.

1. BTR-50P. (attack replics are not needed)
2. Cockroach.
3. Command Truck.
4. Crop Duster.
5. Demolisher.
6. Mobile Elbrus Launcher. (attack replics are not needed)
7. F-104 Zipper.
8. Flak Gun.
9. Hazael.
10. Karakourt.
11. Karkadann.
12. Katyusha missile launcher.
13. L-29 Dolphin.
14. Mobile Rig. (attack replics are not needed)
15. Nuke Bomb Truck.
16. Scolopendra.
17. Stinger Trooper.
18. Wasp AA vehicle.

........If this will be way the game is and you want to capture China WF and use it, you will have to capture some power plants. :p

6. Ok, but GLA must have Black Market, while China can upgrade their units earlier. Not fair.
7. Understood. But PP may have more HP or something.
8. I thought that second economy is limited ONLY in Tournament mode...Well, is there a chance to be unlimited in Normal mode? Cos the most Multiplayer games are played in Tournament, it isn't nedded to be limited in normal mode.

What for? GLA don't use power and don't depend on it. If you need to capture enemy buildings - capture power plants too.
