how about giving one of the factions a new support power: something that drops a vehicle which cannot be controlled, moves in circles, and attacks nearby enemy units?

Hey Speeder! Why don't you do a couple more videos with new 3.0 units, as you did with the Iron Fist? After all, you said that the mod won't be ready this year and people will get bored if you don't come up with some serious eye candy. Personally, I would like to see the new Speeder Trike or that Wyvern in action. :thumbsupsmiley:

We do have some new units, and many more are sure to be added. But not all of them are complete and bug-testing is, naturally, a bigger priority at the moment.

Until you stop double posting, I will just skip reading your posts and I encourage all other posters to do the same. Use the edit button or don't bother posting at all. I prefer reading one very long post than what is basically one post split into multiple parts.

Because I am in a forgiving mood today (and because I saw your double post too late before clicking the reply button), I will only answer the first question:

No, the 3.0 beta is closed. A public skirmish beta is planned for early next year though so you'll be able to check most of what's to come somewhere in January/February 2011.

Editing Tutorial

Look at the bottom of one of your posts. Do you see this?

If so, good! That's one of your posts. Now click the Edit button and a small menu should drop down.

Now, click on Quick Edit, and you'll see that you can now edit your post.

It is common courtesy that when you've made an edit, you add Edit: in front of the text you added. You don't have to do this if you're only improving your spelling/grammar.

Allies: Well... the missiles thing is not a bad idea, but remember that each missile should make less damege, or it will be umbalanced. And, about the speed of the missiles, remember that it´s the only AA that can follow the enemy aircreft across the battlefield. Also, talking about an anti armor defence, men, they just have the best defences. Of course i´m talking if considering the effects. No upgrades (incrasing the firepower can be troublesome)
About the defencees, men... the Allies already have the best defences of the game, as well a big number of them (Pillbox, Prism Towers, GRand Cannon, Gap Tower), as well the GIs and GGIs (the last one can´t be crushed by early game vehicles) can already deploy and stop early game rushes. You really think that the need even more defences?

Soviets: Once again, no upgrades to incrase firepower, or it can be troublesome

Yuri: About which cannon are u talking about?

Edit : well as for the Yuri cannon am speaking of the Gatling cannon of course are you familiar with C&C Generals zero hour and a general liang the tigress this general has a dual Gatling cannon which has a bottom and top turret for infantry killing and to shoot down air borne threats. Also the top turret has it's own back up power supply so even if base power is out it works any way. not that i am saying that it has to be added but wouldn't a new version of the Gatling cannon like that be awesome cause that would fix the whole problem with getting stuck on ground targets and still provide plenty of AA and some infantry threat.


Secondly i agree missiles should do less damage than now but be spread out between the four missiles equal so the four will do a little more than the two original but not much just to make it seem better.

Also i didn't say increase fire power for soviets i just said if you make flak cannon twin cannon yes it could be stronger but only if you make it that way but if you fix the other two AA that way then the twin flak cannon would be fine or just make them that way and then balance the power out cause there has to be a way to balance the power just like was done with the Grand cannon which was said to be way over powered in original game Revenge.

Just to be serious is asking that the look of those three AA defenses and just small tweaks be added that much they can be powered down a little to balance out but not to much other wise they will look cool but not be as effective to there support role.

True the allies have good defense but you have to agree the soviets have the battle bunks and if the have Tesla trooper in there the murder tanks and infantry. the allies GGi are good yes on tanks GI on troops but even if one can't get crushed doesn't mean the can stop the tank rush the tanks and rush right through them even if they don't die and go into you base that's what i mean. plus GGI are 400 a pop that is expensive when you are start out build everything . Not to mention vulnerable to virus and dogs. Defenses have benefits nothing can effect them but damage not virus and kill a defense like a GGI that is what i mean . Can't the Allies get a special pill box or something to garrison GGi like four or five a piece that would be cool to protect GGI and let them kill tanks and even air craft.


Also is this not called what would you like to see that is what i would like to see or something like it . Whats use of asking that of everyone if it can't be considered at all .

hey what the hell i ASKED HOW INSTALL EVERYTHING CAUSE I CAN'T GET THE PATCH 2 TO WORK AND WANT TO KNOW WHY IS THAT HARD IF YOUR GONA IGNORE STUFF WHAT EVER TELL ME HOW TO GET IT TO WORK. I CAN'T HELP IT WON'T . NOT MY FAULT IT'S HARD TO USE FILES FOR PATCHES CAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO PUT THEM. AND IT DON'T SAY P2 ON MY GAME AND I WANNA KNOW WHY. SOME HELP PLZ.



ONLY ASKING FOR HELP HOW USE THE SECOND PATCH UPDATE WHERE PUT IT ETC. SO CAN FIX THE SPY BUG ETC.

This is still not helping i did the same thing i reinstalled my whole game both ra2 and yuri and then then the 1.001 patch and npe 0022 patch and downloaded the game mod but still won't say np2 on the game i don't get it HELP PLEASE. And yes i put the patch2 file in my folder for the game so what is going on here.

IT just says 2.0psi then npse no p2 between at all . and if i try to run the launch base to help run the game it keep saying that the NP patch 0022 is not installed but it is what is going on like stated i Reinstalled ra2 fresh and patched it with ra2 patch. then fresh Yuri revenge with 1.001 and then put NP 0022 in and downloaded the mod and the p2 file and put the file in the folder for ra2 in my west wood files and nothing and even tried using launch base to make it run better but having the np0022 not installed patch but it is installed HELP.

Following files with following filenames in YR directory:

Mental Omega APYR 20psi.exe
Mental Omega APYR 20psi 00.xmlf (make sure it's from 19.11.2010, not the one from 2008)

YR patched to 1.001, NPSE 0022 installed.

No other mod files before the activation in the dir, use Marshall's CleanUp before activation to make sure nothing's in.

Activate the mod via the .exe file.

Jesus, why would you even try using Launchbase for this..

MY mistake sorry well anything to get it to work i have all of that but the cleanup part i can't find it to run it where is it please. thanks for the help


Um can i ask you something i found a ra2/yr cleanup thing but i asks is i wanna remove back up files while it cleans up the file do i user that option to . just asking since you know more. thanks speeder and alien.


Now i give it up i mean really is this that complex i ran this clean up file thing and still nothing what gives i mean come on .

Hey i still am having trouble i still can't get it to work i have tried everything and the cleanup program is from marshall i give i have no idea i just no this patch2 file is junk or something cause this is plain stupid to have this much trouble.

Also, this thread has lived up to it's usefulness. Or something. I don't know how it went. For all 2.0psi related discussions please use the patch thread.
