Yea it is... Copy the contents from the bfme 2 options.ini to the one from the rc mod ;)
Might solve it.

I tested all factions (well the four originals :p ) and I must say , this is a great mod ! I really appreciated the fact the player could use the BFME 1 building system , it gives more depth to the game and to the challenge . I like all the factions , now they're truely unique , they are not just a simple copy paste like the vanilla game . I mostly played with Rohan , I noticed the fact they don't have anti-cavalry unit (apart Royal Guards ) so I liked that too , it's forcing the player to use more strategy rather than just use a lot of infantry . All the skins are amazing , the level of detail is awesome , again truely close to the movies ! It reminds me The Dwarf Holds sometimes :) I give it a 4/5 despite some little bugs , but there are not so many .

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.[1]

Ok... that means you are starting in BFME 1 mode (yes solo play wont work, we did that on purpose, you can play skirmish)...
If you change the faction to one of the BFME 1 factions (Gondor, Rohan, Isengard, or Mordor) you will not be defeated.
Otherwise if you wish to play the faction you are playing, deselect BFME 1 mode in the rules tab.

Check for Game2.dat in your install directory, if its not there copy it from BFME 2 install directory.
If you installed it via Desura, I am sorry to have to say that you need to download it from ModDB instead, the installer from desura is incorrect.

Found the solution... I bet you have a big monitor, as i do. It seems EA doesnt like big monitors. So the solution is to add an Options.ini in the C:\Users\[your login name]\AppData\Roaming\My Battle for Middle-earth™ Files folder (or C:\Documents and Settings\[your login name]\Application Data\My Battle for Middle-earth™ II Files if you use XP) and put the following content in that new created file:
AudioLOD = High
HasSeenLogoMovies = yes
IdealStaticGameLOD = High
Resolution = 1024 768
StaticGameLOD = High
TimesInGame = 5

Hey y'all. I kinda found out a sort of bug in the Alpha release. So I play as any faction (stable or whatnot), and whenever I use a trainer (for fun), the units, after like, 10 minutes or less of gameplay, gets stuck on the ground and doesn't function in any way, (upgrades, movement, attack) they like, just stand there or if they were moving when the bug happens, they run in place. Same goes with all other units, whether it'd be the fellow or enemy AI or the wild creatures. The heroes can still run around, but that's that.

I tried it without said trainer, to no avail.

that's an odd bug that we have not encountered before... have you had this before when playing BFME 2?

I open the game and start, but when I'm on the natural forces of death
the same as BFME II errors, but playing BFME II for 5 minutes, then just die on the RC mod is always death
thanks

..........

Most likely your game also does this in BFME 2...
-If it does not:
--find the support folder in the RC Mod folder and run the RCModRegistrator.exe.
--Copy the game2.dat from your BFME 2 game to the RC Mod install directory.
--If this does not work reenter the correct serial using the "The Battle for Middle-earth II - RC Mod_code.exe"
--If this does not work, Post in detail what you did so we can resolve this.

-If it does,
--Reinstall BFME 2 and make sure you enter the correct serial, and that it does not do this in BFME 2, when it works proceed with the steps mentioned above.

Or perhaps you are starting with a faction incompatible with BFME 1 mode? But if it happens after 3-5 minutes, then its the stuff up there
