I'm glad things are sorted and *besides the bunch of long text that was before this* things are really starting to move .I wish you luck Naz , best of luck , you know SEE was one of my Favorites ! I know we had an agreement once , and I missed it but , well , let's say it was in a bad moment.If you need anything ( not too big ) I might help ( now that High Elves for RC mod are almost done ) .

Aham so , that's one of the reasons RG doesn't code my elves!

Good news all around thats for sure. Ill probably take up continued interest once things get really going. For now though I believe the majority of the completed maps were all uploaded. Ive still got everything I had before when work had halted. It will be nice working with ya again Naz.

I advise Nazgul to start with small things, and one faction at a time.

Oooh, master modeler Val and master mapper NJM both on the same day... nice to see you guys! :good: It's been too long. And yes, like I said... I don't want to promise this as a solid solution, but so far so good (thanks to RG's starter kit & launcher) and with careful methodical steps I hope I can slowly convert Beta 4.5 and some of Beta 4.7 stuff into this fresh start. What scares me most is Sûl's AI coding, which is like grains of sand all over the place, and some of them codes are crucial for SEE ambience, like for instance the Balrogs vastly polished abilities and AI behaviour, besides my new FX. But being my Bday and and getting Lord of the Rings Extended Edition (it's no longer called "Special..." for some reason, like it was on DVD?) on Blu-ray there is agreat chance I will get hooked again :crazed:

having you guys around in the future sparks motivation even more. The mapping from NJM is simply beyond words and more important than I can even say, for this mod. As far as Val goes - the new Gondor Fountain Guard is perhaps the most beautiful unit in game, and I'd kill to have you remodel all of Gondors soldiers (cavalry, swordsmen, spearmen and archers) if you should feel like it :blush:

If you wish this , I can make time for this , but I don't want to remodel again that horrible EA model , I simply HATE it .If you agree I will make a "decent" and sweet model for the Gondor infantry from scratch , and still use your SEE Skins (that if you don't want to challenge me to even texture them !) and I'll promise I won't go off the poly limit too much. :good:

Like we said on MSN: Cavalry, Spearmen, Swordsmen & Archers + Citadel Guard, all with the SEE skins and "matching" the current Fountain Guard in size and proportions - would be sweet! :shiftee2:

You should of course start with the existing factions and existing units. Only when they are finished, you should start with new units and new factions.

Well Since we are taking suggestions. Mine would be to follow what they all say and do one faction at a time, however I think a small release with say a complete mordor and accompanying gondor faction would be cool. Then do another faction like Dwarves and then goblins and do a release adding them in, etc etc.

For now though super baby steps : )

I brought this up myself to Nazgûl, he did not favor this idea and he said, and I quote: "I will not see this mod rebuilt in any lesser form of what was meant to be.", not sure thats exactly it but thats about what he said.

Which meaning that if we were to rebuild the mod, he would want all the factions built up for one major release.

After you rebuild the mod are you still gonna have 4.5 as a download? I think you guys should keep up the original

- This new attament will feature ALL factions and ALL their assets, before any basic release
- I will ry my best to get as much as possible in terms of AI, FX, etc, from beta 4.7 into this version
- The first release might miss some of the more advanced coding though, as this will be me biggest problem to overcome
- Beta 4.5 will remain available as long as DC (Director's Cut) is not featured with a more complete beta
- I will work mostly one faction at a time, in baby steps, yes... :sleep:

And oh yeah... you'll never guess who's helping out with models atm. Can't tell you more about it though, before he agrees to go public, and that we settle on the result :wink_new:

Wow. I wish you excellent luck on this complete re-boot. If you are planning on making it to be as Beta 4.8 is described, then I will wait patiently as that my take at least until Summer 2015 for you to do.
