Yeah, don't burn yourself out on one unit. I know I can get that way with mapping. Take break from her and try another unit instead. :)

Yeah, he's got references to almost every major INI and INC in the game... it's carzy :blink: You know all of his XXX_SEE files, right? Many of them are linked to Shelob and her new powers. The problem of postponing things like this, is that the pile of "do later stuff" grows and that's a big setback on motivation, so I realy hope I can nail this soon. She's the most important hero of this faction, set aside the monument creature (Balrog) off course.

YES!!! You B*TCH!!!! I conquered your DAMN codes! :tongevil: Shelob is FINALLY working, in game and up to SEE standard (4.7 coding) without bugs/crashes. It took 4 attempts, and a few minor meltdowns and outburts (you know me, lol)... but I'll be damned, she'd finally a-ok! Not really sure what the problem was, but I went through each and every code Sûl made for her and one funny thing was that a Weapon had the exact same name as an Attributemodifier. I also found two identical Weapon codes, one INI and one INC. I think even Sûl got confused by his own coding and the way he made references to a "million" new and old codes. Anyways, this was a great way to end the evening... Moria faction is doomed without her precence as a Spell Book awesomeness :rolleyes:

Gonna need help polishing Shelobs powers before I go on. Otherwise the list of needed fixes grows, which I want to prevent. Any takers? Problems are:

- The Summon Spiderlings power gives no eggs nor does any spiders appear...
- The webbing shoots its projectile, and smoke FX comes from target, but there's no coccooned model

there is probably a model reference code somewhere... Which might take days to find it Suls code..........


Ill have to redownload the whole modding file cause i upgraded to windows 7 ultimate so i have to reinstall everything shouldnt take long. I am download Rotwk as we speak. Ill look into the problem when i have SEE working again.

Allright settle down...

DR no offence, but you are releived from "duty". I just never got around to tell you. :blush: I let you in as a test (like I do with any new modders that want to help out), but from what I gather you don't have quite the wast experience I need to deal with ûl's weird coding. There was too many indications of this as soon as we began looking at things for you to do. Sorry, but any additional coders other than me has to be more skilled than myself, and I'm only average. I'm sure you are a potent coder, but you are not what I'm looking for. Thanks for trying out though and good luck with your own projects :sleep:

Blauw, you are welcome to try. It's not a missing model reference as I've gonoe through the whole chain of codes from the Shelob power all the way to the OCL. There's something else missing and I'm sure you can find it. If not, RG probably can. Atm I'm fed up with her though, lol :crazed:

I've found what was bugging Shelob's spiderlings, I don't feel like explaining, but to keep it short, I found a non SEE Spiderling OCL that worked.

Awesomeness. I playtested the summon tonight and it works like a charm. Only some minor polishing left with skins (I will make more of them), FX (I will remove the FX blast) and size (They will be smaller). I dunno what RB found but it doesn't matter. I have full faith in his skills and it's really nice to be releived from obstacles like this to prevent loss of motivation :good:

Something I noticed, the goblin banner carriers move much slower than the other units in their horde. With long move commands they fall really really far behind.

Damn it :dry: The Hill Trolls from RotWK needs so much tweaking it's beyond me to make them reach SEE standards. I'm gonna have to postpone them for someone else to fix later on *sigh* I hate piling up the list of "fix later" stuff, but I need to move on or I'll be stuck. RB or RG or whoever can do this... Hill trolls needs:

- Burning Death FX (tried to copy cave Trolls but INIs differ too much)
- Polished weapon, since they sometimes attack with no anim? The two attack anims needs to be timed with the knock back damage nugget i gave them.
- Fixed commandset since the stance button is grayed out and set to defensive (?)

This is not a good day, coding wise and my mind is blank without ideas/solutions :wacko: I'll move on to the heroes, and after that I'm ready to hand it over to RB for work on Spell Books and hero powers...
