Just now found out about SEE-DC's status, glad to hear that work has at least resumed. And starting over from scratch was *inevitably* imo the right thing to do.

I've made some of your mistakes before Nazgul... Things start going smoothly and I jump ahead and code a whole lot of things and WHAM game crash. Then I have to find what's wrong... Then fix it... And so on. It's usually not really HARD I would say, but the time it takes is a killer sometimes. Though what I do is take it in as many small steps as possible as opposed to huge gigantic leaps. Seeing your progress in-game always has been an encouragement for me.

Seeing it 'work' and all makes everything else not seem to bad.

I will be playing SEE-DC when (unless something catastrophic happens) it's released. Count on that, glad to see this old but great mod reborn from the ashes :)

Great to see so much progress after not really visiting the forums for a long time (lol didn't realize it was a whole year) :) All the vids and updates are bringing back the old sense of excitement and anticipation :thumbsupsmiley:

  •  Do not force yourself into modding it's bad for your health.

Nazgûl is busy fixing some real life issues... I'm kinda busy with school.

Yes, your impatience is far more important that Naz's real life. I demand an answer from Naz himself, I demand compensation!

Is this mod confirmed dead? That'd be an awful shame.

It will never be confirmed dead, because Nazgul is stubborn that way :p
But it is on a hiatus, so don't expect any updates or the likes.

As said in News section... I'm back, and I'm ready to give this another try. I have a new plan... Since modding structures was a LOT easier and faster than modding units and heroes for Moria, I will try and do structures only for as many factions as I can. Preferably all off course, before moving on to units and such... Perhaps that will help me progress faster. Let's hope :whatoa:

Thank you. Atm things are progressing very well with Moria, thanks to heavy assisting from my main coding mentor Ridder Geel. So with any luck the first complete faction will soon be ready for beta testing and polishing. After that, it's on to Erebor faction (Dwarves).

How does the coding on BFME look like? Can you post a script so I can see what it looks like?

I'd say look in the modding parts of this forums for some sort of examples.
