Yea, that 'Hang-Over' parody mission was pretty cool. I would have stayed married to the Hag if I had the choice.

The Thieves Guild so far has the best storyline.

I just got done with it, and so far it's my favorite guild plot, I suppose. I just wished for more big heist missions like the Honeyglow mission, or stealing the Cipher. And I gave away the [Item Spoiler Alert]
Spoiler
in the end thinking I would get it back... I didn't even get to use it.... The Dark Brotherhood had the best missions so far, but I have yet to try out the companions.

I'm almost done with the Theives Guild quest just need to kill the guy. The Night-Tingle armor looks awesome. Its my favorite armor right now but I instead use the ebony chest armor piece instead of the Night-Tingle one and it looks pretty cool. I might put up a picture of it.

As for the Dark Brotherhood I finished the quest line and I found it boring and lacking. It wasn't as good as Oblivions and it was just a big let down for me. :( Being a Dark Brotherhood fan and all.

As for the Hang-Over mission I still haven't finished it but it looks cool.

Yea, Oblivion seemed to have better guild missions. In fact, the guild missions and quests for the Daedric idols were the only memorable parts of Oblivion for me. But in the end of any Elder Scrolls game, you of course become the grand master of every guild. For once I wouldn't mind being a high-ranking follower in the end.

Oh, and there's a Minecraft reference in Skyrim. You may find it at the highest point in Skyrim...

Yeah the Notched Pickaxe. Just got to 100 Smithing Skill. I really wanted to see what the Dragon armor looks like, though I didn't like the way it looks and I'm all about the looks and not really about the stats. So I guess I wont be using it. The helmets for both Dragon Scale and Dragon bone look cool though.

Addicting isn't the word for it. I thought I've seen it all until I waged war with Whitehelm and forced the Jarl to surrender just a few minutes ago. That's major awesome.

Yea, I just smithed myself a dragon scale helm and gave it some pretty nasty enchantments. I'm slightly disappointed on how easy it was to get 100 on both enchantment and smithing.

So who else here started a game with a race they thought they would like, only to realize they wanted something else and started all over?

I was about 28 hours in, with an Imperial. I was a bit of a cross between a Mage and a Warrior.
Then I decided that was too generic. It didn't really offer any way to role play. I wanted to specialize in something.
In the end I started over and chose the cat guy. Now, I'm a stealthy assassin/thief, type of character.

I must say, it is very satisfying to successfully complete a dungeon, having stealth killed every single enemy.
I can't get enough.

Seems Assassin\Theif type characters are what everyone goes for on Skyrim now. :p

I'm seeing tons of people become a mage actually. It's amazing because people always choose the generic warrior class in these types of games and hammer rush everything.

My character is chiefly a stealthy archer, but I have enough points in light armor and one-handed weapons to go toe-to-toe with most enemies in melee, using two daggers. This game is great.

Oh, you said it. I just can't wait for the expansions. I just hope I get a good PC here in the future so I can mod Skyrim sometime. I've been itching to create a Daggerfell mod.

The game is great, but the guild quests and the guilds overall where disappointing, some more than others. The Thieves Guild was my favorite though. But yeah can't wait for the expansions.

I think I'm on the last mission for the Thieves Guild myself. And yeah, most of my stealth kills are done with a bow.
But, if I have to, I'll use a dagger. The 15.0x damage multiplier is no laughing matter.

I just wanna say, if anyone hasn't gotten it yet, then don't get it for a console. That's what I'm playing on (PS3), and it looks really good. However, sometimes when you first enter an area it's kinda jumpy. It annoys the hell outta me. At least with a comp I'd be able to turn the graphics down.

Also, what sort of expansions do you suppose they'll release? This is the first Elder Scrolls game I've played.

I've actually seen little to no major bugs on the 360. My game froze a few times and animations failed, but that's when I had it installed on my hard-drive. Apparently you're not supposed to install the game on your console. but yea, I would love to have it for PC if the graphic requirements didn't require parts that needed to be blessed by the pope first so they don't explode.

And nothing has been said about the expansions yet, except that the 360 will be getting them before PC and PS3. Apparently Microsoft paid T O N S of mula just so their users get them first. I have it for the 360, but that even bugs me a little.

The 15.0x damage multiplier is no laughing matter.

Use the Jester gloves. They double one-handed weapon's sneak damage. I use the prison shank I got from the Silver-Blood Prison as my primary assassination weapon now because I don't need anything powerful at all. It only has 7 damage, but 30x with the gloves on plus the fire and electric enchantments I have on it, plus the one-handed bonuses I have, plus the extra assassination bonuses. My bow is more ridiculous... being forged at 99 damage and upgraded to a legendary at 135 damage plus frost and electric enchantments maxed out plus the 95% archery bonus from my armor plus my natural archery bonus plus the 3x damage for assassinations. No drag' gonna' burn down this lizard... no sir.

Hmm... I've been working more than playing recently, but when I first got it, I played nearly a ton. It wouldn't surprise me if it was over 40 hours of gameplay. I'll check when my controller battery recharges.

Guess it don't tell. They probably didn't want people realizing they spent 6 days straight and quit in realization.

Oh another note, not only do I strongly believe Skyrim will be game of the year, I do believe it has the best soundtrack out of any other game this year. ... As long as we're not including the Metal Gear Solid HD collection to that running...

A few hours ago I decided to start playing the Main Quest line again and went to go get the Elder Scroll. It took me to an underground Dwarven place called Black Reach and man was it beautiful. Some of the most amazing Dwarven Ruins I've seen in Skyrim so far.

The main quest sends you there to get the Elder Scroll?

Odd.

I was just sent there by a mysterious wizard living in the frozen north to do the same. Blackreach is awesome.

I went to a friends place and he had it. Seemed pretty buggy since he was climbing up/down vertical walls(mountain faces), attacking cows who had jammed themselves mid-air with their toe caught on a fence, and his partner decided to randomly disappear.

I was also kinda surprised that in this era where every game is a graphical 'masterpiece' full of too much bloom and ridiculous detailing that this looked fairly average. In fact, graphics-wise, I'd say it was just like Half life 2 which came out nearly 8 years ago now.

But I've never been a graphics snob, so that doesn't really effect my opinion of it.
I don't plan on ever playing/getting this game though. I've never really been interested in the elder scrolls series, and what I've seen of this game didn't change that.
