That looks great, do you have any plans for fortress expansions and upgrades?

looks very similar to the ones i made back in the day for SEE before they lost everything

although, i would suggest you use an alpha channel for the spikes as the shading or lack of smooth group stitching makes them appear to glow
not bad work though

I'm looking at parts of it, and it looks insanely like mine, the texture anyway, the railing at the top, is it gold serpents on grey-ish wood?

They didn't exist in EA, I made those

Is this your model DIGI_Byte, in RJ-Mod? http://www.moddb.com...rtress#imagebox

that looks like it alright... the front door is changed, but that is my model (specially the texture) no doubt about it, the give away is those spines on the top of the roof
Don't know know why or how its in RJ's mod tho

the front is changed, the stone slab its on is raised, its been scaled in and made it more compact because the original had a court yard in the center

Yeah, they're OK, but in hindsight, they're not really creatively inspired rather than remade EA ones for all intensive purposes. I know you've alluded to that, but at lest try a little variation.

Yep there are more questions. :) I already had seen the similarities and the differences and can certainly see that you made yours. ;p

If you are making a full set of Rhûn faction buildings Nazgûl will be interested (But he is still working on the Goblin faction).

Also, if you do not mind me talking to DIGI in this topic, there seemed to be a lot shared between SEE and RJ, and RJ has a working Rhûn faction (with a few parts missing, like the Dragon statue fortress expansion was only a scaled Goblin fortress expansion, and a few Rhûn buildings were re-skins of Dale buildings.)

Ruudy,

Can I suggest a Rhûn statue of some sort? Like a dragon maybe? ;p

Is it difficult to make buildings like this? Piecing the models together does not sound too hard, but I have not tried it yet.

Also if you want to try some variation of architecture, I recommend finding what cultures WETA Workshop mixed to design the Easterlings and don't just go for a overused Middle-eastern or Chinese thing.

Great job Ruudy. You take what you can from EA, and you finish the job. Well done. I don't see where all this bullshit about "be more creative" comes from. They look great, and that's all that matters.
