I don't know who's voicing the Stalin's Fist (voicer's username is not listed in the document), but we should totally have him record 2 more lines, for when the vehicle is built and when it is destroyed, just like the Kirov and Siege Chopper.

"Stalin's Fist, punching in." or "Punching in."
and
"Time to punch out!"

This goes well with the concept that the vehicle is a factory, and Soviets are stereotypically presented as factory workers. As a result, the concept of "punching in" and "punching out" when you start and end your shift fits well. Not to mention it's a fist, and you know, a fist is meant to punch.

Another line that could be funny is "Let's make some punch.", as in, yes, fruit punch, meant for drinking. This line could be used when it deploys and would mean "Let's produce things", in a way.

No unit uses the creation voice anymore, except for the Centurion. Only aircraft use the 'crashing' voices. Just a note.

Excuse me if I am a bit stupid, but I need help with some things:
1: Wich program do I need to record with? Wich is best?
2: How do I download it? Plus if it´s free and a pause recording feature!!
3: Could you please send me some feedback later and give me tips for other units that my voice could fit? ( I am only 14, so my voice is not like an adult´s yet, but I dont sound like a 10-year old kid..)

Hello YuriInitiate98, welcome to the forums!

There are a lot of free recording programs. Audacity is your best bet in this. If you're willing to shell out some cash, you'll find Goldwave a suitable option for recording, which is the software I use. Both programs feature pausing during recording, so don't worry about that!

If you hop on the IRC channel for Mental Omega, we'd be more than happy to give feedback once you send in a few lines.

Good luck and happy recording!

Sent voice overs for 6 different units - All Allied. Turned in the old ones that I had promised, too, but I'm not sure they're that great (That's why I didn't end up sending them when I said I would). But since I'm sending new ones, might as well send everything and let you guys decide.

EDIT: Actually, I did voice overs for 7 units. Sending one I forgot.

So I saw on the googledocs about the "constant mission development" about hero units needing more lines than the basic lines.
I have some suggestions:

Clock is ticking, Libra. Clock. Is. TICKING! like this one http://m.youtube.com...h?v=pVBRH50Z7TY (probably when she realizes that she could fail her mission)
You look CUTE when you're on FIRE!! (the allcaps words are must emphasis) (probably when she kills her first enemies)
If I can't find some dead guys, I'll MAKE some DEAD GUYS!! like this one http://m.youtube.com...h?v=Lxo1qlk6gEI
CUPCAKES!!(Psychotic outburst)
Were you surprised?! Were YOU?? WERE YOU?!?! HUHUHUH!?! Like this one http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bsaP313

Sent a PM, E-mail and even posted here that I sent 7 voices...No one received them? :(

I'm asking because I got no replies back...I'm assuming that perhaps they weren't what the team was looking for?

Welcome to the Supérior Audio Facility's showcasing.

Today we're gonna learn how to do Basilisk voice.

Required equipment:
  • quality microfon
  • Audacity
  • Record the lines in a monoton voice. Try to be as understandable as you can since the echos will gonna mess you up later.
  • Change your pitch to the desired base pitch of Basilisk.
  • Use Paulstretch. Stretch Factor 1, Time Resolution 0,25
After these are done, you already have a kinda Basivoice (example at this point is Basilisk.zip/Basilisk.ogg) which might sound you good but you might want to enrich it.
  • Double the track you made in step 3, and change the pitch of the new one. Repeat this as many times as you want.
The second example (Basilisk.zip/Basitrololol.ogg) showcases another recording with a +15%, +30% and -15% pitched additional tracks.

This ends our tutorial. I hope you've enjoyed it.

Goodluck and happy bugging of Speeder with the results.

Hi. My name is tinotormed.

I became a fan of the Command and Conquer franchise, until I witnessed this new and awesome mod that I have ever seen.

I did played MO 2.0, but I would give particularly 3.0 a shot.

But anyways, on voice acting, I may give an 'Archer' and 'Mantis Tank' voiceover a try. :)

Welome to the Mental Omega forum, tinotormed!

You are more than welcome to give both units a try. Just send us the files to mental.omega.apyr@gmail.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we sober up from New Year's Eve. ;)

Hello Eric, welcome to the Mental Omega forum!

You can use any program you wish for recording your voice, as long as the quality is good. Audacity is a good free piece of software.

Oh, I forgot one more thing, I got a young voice! What should I do when I record my voice in Audacity?
