So first you claim his work looks cartoonish and unrealistic, then you tell him it would fit better in the BFMEII Dwarven faction. Am I to conclude you find this faction realistic and gritty instead of a blatant cartoony Warhammer ripoff? 

 

Nah, that's silly.

 

Besides, you need *some* color and vibrancy to be able to distinguish parts of the model ingame.

Dealing with you can be very difficult. My issue is the vibrant nature of the texture, which I dont like. But it fits with the vibrant and cartoon like look of bfme 2's dwarven faction. Which I also am not a fan of. Im meaning to say that the look he has created fits well with the existing dwarves.

I prefer the look from the films as a basis.

Last 2 Pictures models = Blury. First 2 pics = Alright. Its getting there! Also, Nice work on all the others i havent checked them out in a while so i am sorry for not posting but you are defiantly getting better.

Both of them look very nice, but due to the darker armour, I like the second one better.

Some thoughts: Add more shadow below the rims of the helmet where the face starts. Right now it looks too flat. Also, the bottom right one seems to have a chainmail/fur coif? I can't tell (this may be a problem) but I can tell that the shadowing beneath is too much. Also, the orc on the bottom left has the rape-y eyes still :p

 

But overall I like your progress.

Yea I've been watching some serious Return of the King lately, so that might explain alot ....
Helm took 2 hours to get right and Pauldrons 3 (excluding its horrible mapping). I'm considering making a new set of 'realistic' anims for them. begun animating as well, hence the new poses.

And the armour's way out of condition to be used in the army. Too dirty for the esteem of a Gondorian, and the lack of detail on the armour itself is killing me.

Just started the texture, but I think the mesh is pretty much complete. Might have to make a few tweaks on the mapping to.
